im not an expert kay but run my findings on running a rescue and not just having to look after the same couple of ferrets for years, but you are right in what you say if his jill is entire and i must have missed this part then there is less chance of being adrenal as it tends to effect spayed jills more but has been known in entire jills, so i put my hands up if i made an error but come on with the symtoms given and the hair loss from the flank you have to agree this is classic signs of adrenal. The jills pregnant .. as for the clinical signs hair loss is one of many ... hairloss on

Willie the jills entire ... as your clearly an expert can you post the data that you have collated regarding entire ferrets & what percentage as opposed to neutered ferrets that are diagnosed with adrenal tumours

MATE YOU TALK SOME SHIT.Get a life you prick. look ya wee prick (and it was your boyfriend who told me that you had one) what do you know aboout ferrets? and what is your understanding of adrenal dissease. :wankerzo4: Willie you are not a vet ... adrenal isn't just about hair loss its usually accompanied by a few more clinical signs ... i am sure if the original poster has any concerns then he will take the ferret to a vet

I am inclined to agree with para 1 sometimes the coat can thin where there going in & out of the nest box

where the eyes are closed over if it looks pink then it will be an albino... if it looks dark then it will be a coloured ferret or a polecat coloured one

I had it happen it was the last kit & as it was dead there was no way she was going to pass it .. the vet gave an oxcytocin jab & she passed it ... you do need to get her to the vets asap

I am really happy at the numbers in there.. even though the fish are feasting on them theres thousands this year.. i will try to get a better pic tomorrow but they move about in scholes i didnt know youd moved to wigan kay very funny :laugh: you know what i mean

Theres thousands of tadpoles in the pond i go to i think there toads .. never seen so many

Thats spot on it kept flitting back & forth to the same few reeds .. is the female the same colour or brighter ?

I sat by the pond this afternoon catching some rays & got a couple of dragon flies not sure exactly what they are but very nice to see all the same
