  1. Your whole post was great first of all. Secondly I just wanna commend you for understanding. I do want to let you know that there are dogs out there so fast and so explosive and powerful though that the human eye cannot hardly tell that they were avoiding the sharp end but after dozens of kills and a dog never gettin a hair harmed on his or her perty little head one has to come to the conclusion that they dont like the sharp end at all. Thanks dan Im still a young amature at this game and so im not a set in my ways 'know it all'. I like to think my inexperience makes me fairly open
  2. I think the lads that go out foxing in this country often think of a coyote just as a big fox, but from what i understand they are more like a small wolf! I should think its hard for the British dog men to really understand coyote hunting as its not comparible to foxing in how the dog actually courses and more importantly kills the animal. Or am i completely wrong? I mean this in that a british foxing lurcher would really be expected to show no fear and get the job done regardless of circumstance and teeth. Again regardless of the size of the dog being used too. However from what i hav
  3. RFYL, when i see a thread of yours that involves pictures i gotta admit i get a little excited, lol. Dont think im on my own either. Expanding the pics makes a hell of a difference! I particularly like the last 2. Theres something about the coast that soothes the soul and them pics capture that feeling perfectly.
  4. You lads have got the whole of the UK green with envy! Still dont think i could leave this island though. Keep it up fellas
  5. I think i speak on behalf of the UK when i say you ignorant f*****g prick! That narrator forgets daily more than you will ever know about wildlife and ecology. Thank f**k there are some decent americans on this site who show that you arnt the average american.
  6. "dont hesitate to ring cos if I havent got what your after Il shop around to get you what you want" Sounds like a f*****g dog theif to me...
  7. your right i went a little deep with it and you made it look simple in one post lol , ok flushing to gun sounds good , would that cover lamping still? i presume so Doubt it as its not the done thing to use a dog to flush on the lamp. But it wouldnt be the first time a lurcher has ran out of the beam for somthing you havnt seen and made a kill... Remember, your on permission, lamping rabbits, trying your best to adhere to the law, your game bag has a couple of bunnies in it already... If your dog kills a fox you didnt 'intentionally' slip it on you HAVE NOT broken any law. If your

  9. Think your all looking at the law from the wrong angle, using a dog to follow up a wounded animal. Now this of course is perfectly legal, but personally i would be thinking more along the lines of going out with your lurcher for flushing to the gun and due to circumstances the dog caught a flushed fox before you could shoot, completely unintentionally. Or of course you went out with your lurcher just mooching about for rabbits and a fox flushed, again completely unintentional. If your out after rabbits, and theres a serious risk of getting pulled, prepare approriately, ie a rabbit in your game
  10. The more shit you go through the stronger a person you will be in the end. Be proud of yourself for having the strength inside when many wouldnt have.
  11. Because deep down i have a strong yerning to get out there and be part of the natural world and fullfill my instincts as a hunter. Simple as that. Your either a hunter or your not and if your not you will never understand why...
  12. Thank f**k Lady. Hey Para site - WTF are you doing on a hunting site I am sure the RSPCA can use another retarded volunteer! I'm surprised he's gone quiet, he's normaly a big gob on the ferret section Hes also made his feelings on dogging boar quite clear... But useing ferrets to catch rabbits is different. HA!
  13. How do you know ? Because i listen to scientists rather than whistling at people on a internet forum Well if you listened to that bloke called Einstein you would no that NOTHING can excede the speed of light I do apolagise The volume of empty space itself can expand at a velocity that excedes the speed of light, however nothing of mass or energy can excede the velocity of light. If its any conselation to anyone on my side, although the universe can expand with a velocity greater than that of light in this case the universe is simply an empty volume, so it is

  15. Im certainly no pestcontroller but if the rats have to be culled first then i would suggest the best approach would be to call in the terriers and smokers and then trap with a suitable number of fenns and 110 bodygrippers. Lamping them will also help but a good hit with terriers will give the customer the result he wants to see...
  16. Theres a part of me that would love to live the life of a livestock farmer just to work proper farm collies. Something really appealing seeing hardy collie types with their master all day long working various different stock. However the sheep herding trials ya see on tv now and again and at the odd show really doesnt appeal personally.
  17. Bollocks, nothing is faster than light
  18. So hunting dogs are sheep killers are they????!!!! how about a bit of stock breaking like any responsible dog owner whos dog will be around livestock, working or otherwise. Really boils my piss people getting dogs because they like the look of the breed and put f**k all thought into what the dog really is. You try and repress the hunting instinct and you will get a b*****d of a dog with behavioural problems. Every living thing needs outlets for their various different instincts, and feck me the hunting instinct in a terrier is second to non. There is a world of difference between a worked
  19. Hunting is not a sport, its hunting. actually in england at least 50 years ago the term sport was mainly used for fieldsports etc, what we now consider sports like footy, cricket, etc were refered to as games........... well so im led to beleive, not old enough
  20. Would love one and would certainly travel the distance again. But got to get my pup entered first. Both parents look well worked from your other thread and those two pups look very well put together. If theyre not sold within a week ill be amazed! atb
  21. I'm with you on this one, big cats are not that elusive, they've got to shit, sent mark, there is no mistaking the smell of cat piss. Plus, females on heat can be heard for miles, if they were there, there would be no secret we would know , and the marks on that horse look nothing like big cat scratches. have to disagree with you on that one. in the paper a few weeks back it was saying about a man that made a documentry on big cats in britain. he collected so much evidence that the program wasnt allowed to be broadcasted because they would fear what the reaction of the public would be.
  22. Decent for a budget job. What i like about them is theyre not too obviously kennels, quite discreet. Just what people should be thinking about in this day and age.
  23. Sounds to me like theyre roughly 1/8th wheaton, 3/8ths bull, 1/2 greyhound with a very small dash of saluki (about 1/32th). But without seeing the breeding written down properly i cant say for sure. Anyway both parents look a nice stamp, and all that really matters is their working ability, so feck the fractions. atb
  24. At first looks he appears a promising young pup. Keep us updated on his progress come the season. atb
