Kennelling together - The day will come!

If people want to kennel dogs up together which ever way they want that's their business. But one thing's a fact, dogs kenneled separately can't fight for any reason! So, you either take the chance with your 100% dogs (if one gets killed then you have learnt summat new) maybe go all ya life without a problem. Or kennel separate and never have to find out. Do what the feck ya want, I know what makes the most sense to me. -

Nice to see pics from abroad. Last year I had the pleasure of looking through a huntsman's photos from his days hunting a pack in Canada. Great pictures, top bloke and an excellent week hunting with him. Do you use terriers on a days hunting over in Canada?

At a guess it's because what is now Wales was a Celtic stronghold and never really conquered by the many invaders this Island has seen. As a result, the rest of us are a concoction of Briton, Celtic, Angle, Saxon, Viking, Roman, Norman etc etc.

His hat had fallen in, so instead of reaching in an grabbing the cap, he thought it would save time if he stuck his head in the bin and presumably straight into his cap. I understand that, but still wouldnt be squeezing my entire head into the bin. Maybe it is a perfectly logical thing to do.... How the hell did his hat fall horizontally through the gap and into it anyway?

Difficult to dissagree with that Malt. It'll be even harder to dictate to them green living over the coming years, Brazil is set to boom and I doubt the rainforest will be allowed to get in the way of their economys progress. Let's hope they are a bit more conservation minded than Britain has been in the past.

Having better luck than me. Seem to be more badgers about than rabbits! All afternoon the weather will be perfect, then come late evening all the wind has gone with the cloud cover and that big fecking moon illuminating the world like a giant flood light! Hopefully a few weeks will bring better luck for me..... Well done!

I agree with you Wilf. I do a bit of everything, lurchers, terriers, keepering, beating, ferreting, hunting etc etc, there's bits I'm not keen on but I hope I'm reasonably accepting of others chosen persuits. But...... there not many days go by without the coursing lot clashing with shooters, terriermen clashing with shooters, keepers bitching about dogmen, stalkers moaning about the evils of deer coursing. I think everyone should be able to get on but there's too many passionately against other countrymen.

Forcing shooters and dogmen to get on with each other in the same section would need more than a dozen mods!

Some people have a bit of a talent for writing and can make a mornings ferreting or a few hour lamping rabbits really good to read. But the likes of me just can't make a brace of rabbits from a 2 hour midnight stomp sound anything more than what it is.

It's still early as feck Levs, Christ there are still little bunnys and leverets running about not to mention a lot of land isn't even cultivated yet. You try finding much grassland to run in Linc's! I've been out a couple of times this season and done nothing that anyone would want to read about, been out plenty just mooching and blanked plenty to. You're a great contributer to the site, but no one wants to read my shit. My dogs aren't world beaters, I can't do 'the ton' and I blank a hell of a lot, none of that makes for very interesting reading.
