  1. the answer is a little deeper than what i just said,,, its proberbly more the landscape,, in other words if you took a hare from another area and put it in the fens it would proberbly be a better hare. however even the above is flawed,,, as there are generations of hares that have survived in the fens due to being run regular. now somthing difrent to ilistrate how good and fast ,, yes fast. how some line bred cousring saluki crosses are. about 1 year befor the ban i was invited out to the lincolnshire ,,, VISA the old bitch was young,, im a bit of an anorak about timing my dogs ru

  16. I do find it interesting that the one thing those that slag fenland hares/hare coursers off have in common is...that they haven't been there and done it. You don't hear a peep from those that have been and sampled the class lagomorphs that can be found on the biggest of land.....Funny that.
  17. I think youl find theres plenty of saluki in her make up . Come on boys who we trying to kid , we are generations past streight lurchers for coursing , weve got far superior dogs now cant answer this the way i would like dont want to start up an old argument but youl find a lot of the dogs that are still run over here have less saluki in their make up than people might think talking qurter or less in alot of them and just a question for tomo if yea could answer that splodge dog yea mentioned how much saluki would their be in him if yea would know sorry fella i dont know,,, i think i
  18. If a non saluki blooded dog could run for three or four minutes , how many times during the day could he this ? Once i reckon , and then hed be rolling around in a pool of throth , blowing out of his arse !! He certainly is not going to have the recovery rate of a saluki bred dog, neither is he going to be as good around cover . Its not just about staminer , its about style , controlled pace , and coursing sence , which the saluki has loads of naturally . You cant beat the right type of coursing dog on big or small land .When was the last time a normal lurcher won a match !!?? the bitc
