cant see a problem with lamping rabbits in sept,,,, most guys start ferreting and lamping sept,,, shure you will get a few 3/4 grown and some might be a bit dumb,,, but were not talking matching a hare on the fens

is there anything between your ears kid ????? 10 mins refered to daytime on the flat land,,, get my drift
-
i can remember jim offering the land in norfolk meybee it got deleted with all the arguing it would take about 5 hours for you guys to get there as it 4 hours from mine to yours mark stop exagerating your numbers,,, you and jb got that 100 in 2 nights, last summer,, with god knows how many dogs,, you told me that on the phone feck knows why you exagerate so much ,,,, you get good numbers all the time, and give the dogs plenty of graft,,, but stop adding numbers and years to you and your dogs age,,, you going to tell us kat is 7 or 8 year old next

Tomo did you get the dog for big rabbits or to have a dog that you can do bit off both with??? But do agree with what your saying i bred Visa to jack , just because he was a good lurcer that had grafted for 10 years and put a lot of game away.............. if i had wanted a pure coursing dog i would have mated her to a fen dog with a good name,,, in fact i proberbly would have just bought in a pup from a good line. but i was hedging my betts hopeing for a bit of both,,, courser x lamper. thats it realy.

tomo you write LETS SEE HOW HONEST YOU OR ANY OTHER FELLAS ON THIS SITE ARE right tomo yes a whippet or a greyhound might pull up after a minute recharge the battery and run again, BUT your pup isnt a whippet or greyhound is it,??? last known its mother was out of top class coursin stuff capable of 4 to 5 minute runs and its father is the famous lampin dog jack capable of 10 to 15 hares on a dark cumbrian winters nights..... so under no circumstances should your dog pull up after a minute should it??? of course its not a whipp or grey, and as a lurcher you

got to disagree bazil,,,, about the jacking thing if a greyhound or whippet pulled up after a minuit , you would just say its ran out of steam,,, what you have to remember is,,, put this dog back on the slip give it ten mins, and it will run again, and keep doing so,,,, if it jacked it wouldnt run owt . im not saying its a good thing that the dog can only run for a minuit on big rabbits,, of course i want 3 or 4 mins,, would be great,,,, but to say a dog has jacked cos it cant physicaly run any more is incorect.

sounds to me like that dog got hypoglysemia not jacked ,,, its blood sugar has gotten to low for the amount of running that was asked of it.... not evry dog has the same amount of wind in the tank, after all there flesh and blood not machines. Would you say, Tomo, that a fair few people don't know that (sadly) and call a dog a jacker when, in fact, it isn't? proberbly is a lot that dont know,,,esecialy young lads new to it,,, but we all have to lern somwhere,, theres allways a first time for evrybody , and if you aint seen one go over befor, feck it looks scary. "JACKER",,

does a greyhound have no heart??? after all they pull up after about 1 min . but you have a point,, maybee a difrent home will be found in the future,, or maybe it will stay with me, i honestly dont know at this point. the dog that did 50 timber,, is Tara the kelpie cross,,, she pulls up at about 1 min as well on big daytime bunnies,,,, i think im cursed NOW,, LETS SEE HOW HONEST YOU OR ANY OTHER FELLAS ON THIS SITE ARE,,, BY PUTTING UP YOUR DOGS FAULTS

fecking hell kid,,, why all the anger my pup,, out of jack, and my coursing bred bitch , is called Venus, she is just coming up to 2 years old. Now im always honest about my dogs capabilitys, there strenghths and weaknesses. this pup will pull up at about 1 and a half minuts in to a run on daytime rabbits on big open ground . put her back on the slip,, and she will run again ten mins later, basicily she has a good miniut in the tank...... if this is what you call jacking fair enough..... personly i think the dogs just a sprinter,,, and lacks long distance staminar. do i like the

Haha,to be honest Tony i'd give up matey,Blue wasn't the 1st stud dog in the "type" at all,Nipper,Rip and Rag Lad came before him and to be perfectly honest they were around before you were born...they are lurchers mate, nothing less and nothing more, just like some carry the name Nuttall's,Hancock's,Plummer's and whatever else it is thats kicking around and some carry the Minshaw tag..it's no big deal at the end of the day is it? Enjoy what jukels you have and like i've said before the dog only has one person to please and thats the person who feeds, walks and looks after it.....in reply to Dodg
