    As for reverse crosses,,,I don't get it.... Every lurcher needs some speed,,,to catch stuff,,,and them reverse crosses are going to get left behind,,,no point in going more than 1/2 cross,,,in fact I think that's two much... Most lurchers with a bit of collie are bright as buttons,,,and learn quick and can do anything a half cross can,,,,possibly with the exception of working a gate net in the true way,,,,but how many lads do that? Then other chaps say ,,,you loose staminar going more running dog than half cros,,,really? I've yet to see that,,,

    The last 4 Hancock dogs I've seen have been real poor,,,and I'm talking about really struggling to catch a rabbit,,,two were half crosses,,,one a 3/4 grey,,,I forget the % of the fourth..... Lads that are wanting collie cross lurchers,,,wait and do your homework,,,there are lads out there breeding dogs,,generation bred,,from long lines or working dog,, And don't be afraid if somewhere back in the pedigree ,,there's a bit of somthing else,,bedi,,deerhound,, whippet ect, You got to take them blinkers off,,,believe me there blinding you...

    If your doing domestics,,get the money on the first visit,,,feck waiting round like you would with a farm ,,or commercial job... Look at the job ,,,you can estimate the amount of visits,,,most domestics can be done in 3 visits...so roughly £100,,, So look at the job telling customer how many visits your likely to do ,,agree a price,,,and ask them there and then if there paying by cash or cheque,,,..

    After another soaking last week ,,,I think I'm going to get some of them plasticky type trousers the lads wear on the roads,,you know the bright yellow orange type things...... Seen a few,,,but they have side entry to get to trouser pockets,,,,would have thought this would let in water,,,,, Any recommendations lads,,,thanks TOMO

    I gutted 23 on Saturday ,,,and only 1 had good sized baby's in,,3 others had marbles,,,

    A lot of pork products are preserved in salt,,,same for dogs,,,it's the salt rather than the pork,,,, Fresh pork not preserved is good dog food.... But pork isn't somthing a ferret would naturally feed on,,,stick to small mammals birds ect
