    i have that book...as was said the dogs are greys...and kept more for organised coursing..... the books a good read in as much as its about old storys and different incidents..i will say this though the old fella who the books about seemed like a right old c**t and I don't think hes the type of person I would have got along with......the son seemed a lot better though.... its worth a read chaps

    blue grey.....looks a lot like vins bitch.......the dam was called Jewel ..but I'm feccked if I can remember her name....prancing round the ring like a big poof he was ....at one point he came back ring side to get his beer....the pressure was getting to him... took my two young kids....feral little feckers....spent £50 on burgers..bouncy castles ice creams... pop.....all I had to show for it was whippet collar at £9....Doh

    i have met simon many times...I cant say as I thought he was up himself....always came across a good chap....even had him at my house picking up some kits years ago...as well as putting me in touch with a guy from English herratige for some paid rabbit control work..... now I know simon has worked as a paid rabbit catcher for many years......so I dowt hes paying for permission....and I think has diversified a bit with youtube channel..book writing and cookery I think..or that might be his mrs... in the summer he does the gamfairs with his demo....so I suppose he has to come across as an e

    like little storys like that...nice one arry.. I watched a lot of it on telly yesterday morning.....that old paratrooper was brave fella 95 and doing a jump....got some balls....it was nice listning to the old fellas talking and telling a few storys and things.....then I herd churchills speech.....the one where he says we will fight them on the beaches...we will fight them in the streets..we will never surrender....gave me goos bumps ...hairs sticking up on the back of neck.....

    there were good numbers in the graves themselves if that makes sense ....a lot of the graves had little concreat surrounds around them....with a two slabs inside then covered in gravel.....but a lot of the rabbits were under the slabs...really of.....but you know what rabbits are like for turning up in odd spots.... there would be odd holes on the outsides of these graves ....I did one two hole affair and killed 8 out of it and missed two.....and god knows what the hob killed....as 5 of those I killed were 6 week old cockers....either me or the terrier caught....

    cheers mate.....thanks for the heads up....I will wait and see whos used them ....also got a ferw feelers out so theres no rush ...few months till we get going again..mind saying that we did a pest job last week on the rabbits....graveyard took 63 out of there.....what a mess they had made of the graves

    I stood watching it at work behind the bar.....no telly or owt as we didn't have it on in our bar.....but one of the barstaff got it on one of the till monitors....so they had to use the other tills till it finished.....lol

    bloody cheap they are mate thanks.....only trouble is it was £8 postage for just the one spool.....mind it gets cheaper the more you buy......if i bought 5 spools....it was £38.....trouble is I don't need that many..... to be fair though....2 spools was £21.....so that's a good deal when every where else is £15 a spool plus £3 del charge.... cheers for the link.....

    yes ....but not the old way like I used to... got a load of 10z sheet netting..that I'm cutting in to 4 foot lengths braiding a ring on ect

    oh and any body got any of the 1 killo spools of draw cord....just looked on rabbit fever....15 notes pluss 3.50 post ....advanced netting is cheaper.... any body else....?

    ok gents...im after a brand new ..not second hand.....do any of you good chaps know the cheapest place to purchase one....Deben direct are more than the shops at £199.....ebay 195..... so far the online shop on here are cheapest at £190.....I have vin asking a few contacts....but if any of you fellas know of somewhere cheaper let me know....cheers TOMO
