ive seen the sire to that dog work and hes a handy animal.....and lots of you that were here in the early days will remember moorman of here ...his lad was great at the photos....thats were some of his breeding is from....just good honest lurchers predominatly collie grey....but there are dashes of other bits in there....

i spoke to him on the phone about 2 year back.....he was on about that 23 gen bred deer/grey then.... he told me it was a 13 gen bred dog over a 10 gen bred bitch....im not sure that makes it 23 gen though....

i have had a couple of very good small working jills...but the best jills i had were always the longer neaner type that folk would call greyhound type.... but honestly in the last almost 10 years my best ferrets have been hobs....in fact its all me and my ferreting partner keep now....i find they bolt more and kill more ...to me they push out rabbits quiker than jills will ....and of course they will kill quicker or at least stop them till you dig... there are some downsides to hobs though.....right now if your still ferreting and i am....there minds are wandering they have sex on th
