Yeh I read about him years ago ...I found it fascinating how long they lasted out there...and not believing all attempts to get them to surrender ....didn't they get his dad in the end over there to make contact...it's a while ago since I read about him so my memory might not be 100% acurate -
we have a thermomix which is a very handy bit of kit....but bloody expensive..

here's a quick food hack with regards to chips... don't bother peeling the spuds.. chop up your tatties in to chips...pour some oil or dripping in a roasting tin...spread your chips out ..then in the oven for half hour...oven chips but not frozen processed dead easy...

me and a couple of chaps I worked with have had a few drinks with them ..and a few other bits and bobs ...lol they were regulars at manumision in ibiza ..and as such would be downstairs in a room before there set...with loads of booze and gear... it would have been rude not to accept there hospitality....lol
