    morning all, well my dog is a couple of years old now and never been ferreting as he's alway's been used as a lamp dog. Lurchers off this site said we should have a look out with the dog's and ferret's for a change as we've both got pretty strong work commitments and getting out when you want is a pain in the ar*e. so here goes (red dog mine/ rough dog is Lurchers), we got out late yesterday morning, it was wet but not bad, we had 2 lurchers 3 ferrets a bag full of nets and away we go. first hedge we decide not to net up and pop in a BIG dog ferret to see what he can bolt! he bolt

    a couple of year back me terrier got a grass seed down inside the ear, it caused the ear to become enflamed, sore and hot to the touch, the dog never stopped scratching at it, cost £90 at the vet for anti-inflamitaries and some anti-biotics. sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and pay the vet. atb natter

    i'm gonna be shot down for this and bollock's i don't care, dog's are workers! dog's are pet's! i defy anyone to tell me they don't build a BOND with their working partner wether it is what YOU would call a WORKER or a PET. my dog lives in me house, he goes after whatever i point him at and I feckin love him to bit's, he play's with my kid's makes me, the wife and everyone smile BUT when the lamp goes on he's a stone cold KILLER and I wouldn't have him any other way atb natter

    just watched it mate it was a repeat from about 2yr back now, i've watched them churn that episode out and put that pit bitch and her pup's to sleep about 4 times now, they keep turning out the same old shite. atb natter

    a couple of year back whene my terrier bitch was bout 10mnth old she had a little wander down a rabbit hole, took me an hour of calling and standing around and she luckily came out of her own accord, glad your dog's ok and the lurcher will pull round mate it was probably boredom and frustration at all the waiting aroung for the bloke digging the hole atb natter

    the dog in my avatar is col/grey X whip/grey this will be his second season and he learns well, catches well, and generally gives 100% so far. i was after a col/grey originally but when the chance of this dog came along i took it. atb natter

    mine took me 7yr old out at the knees end of last summer, dog was running flat out an the bairn was that shocked it took him a good 10min before he even cried! lucky for me the wife was no where near. atb natter
