Ply is to pricey these days and stear clear of them crappy pet shop jobs not worth a toss Dont know anything about wood as you have probably guessed, is there anything else I could use for outside instead of ply.

Bas icily what I meant was, if making a small hutch for temporary use, with the price of wood are you better buying one of these cheap rabbit hutches and convert and strengthening, or buy sheets of ply.I will have to find out how much exterior ply for a basic 3ft long 16 inches wide.

I and others have sent emails to Deben asking them how much shelve life do you get with Lithium batteries, and have not received an answer, now you would think in these troubled times a question on a product, and less face it an expensive one at that, would jump at the chance to come up with info, if they they think you are interested in there product. -

Cheers Skycat, Just ordered a box of Lamb, a box of Beef, a box of Green tripe, all minced and one box of chicken wings,from DAF will lose the brewers yeast, I am using Flax oil once a Week, but should I drop this and give Cod Liver Oil instead?

Cheers Skycat Pup gets two Chicken Wings smashed up every day for Breakfast, plus SE50 sprinkled on food, plus Seaweed powder twice a week and powdered brewers yeast daily, Do you know what is best the Beef mince or Lamb mince? and Lamb bones.

Any ideas what would be best for Pup, raw Lamb Mince, or Beef mince, protein wise I have a picky eater, so mixing with raw tripe, with either of the above would it bring the protein level down. and in Scotland does anyone use Durham Animal Feeds or Barf Supplies Scotland, and which one would you recommend for quality.

All this castration, Vasectomy is new to me, being one of the old school,I too have just acquired a Brother and sister, I was going to get the Hob Vasectomised at 6 Months, and keep the two of them together, as I only have the one hutch, and no space for another,also another reason for getting him Vasectomised was a couple of Lads I know could also use him to bring their Jills out.So could I keep them together if he has been vasectomised.I suppose it would help if he was away for a bit bringing Jills out of Season.

Apart from the price difference, I am interested in work wise, what's the difference on Rabbits, between a Euro Polecat and a Albino or Polecat Ferret off good working strain, in otherwords, would they put more rabbits in the bag?

I picked up my two new Kits two Days ago, I used two Cat Litters trays from Wilkinson's cheap as chips I screwed the first one down with the second tray fitting inside, got the idea from this forum, with Cat Litter, they are using, I have seen them, but there is still the odd small clump in the corner, so one is using both.nest box material, one Dog fleece purchased from a cheap store, couple of quid, and bought a pack of compressed wood shavings from equestrian store £7.40 appears a bit expensive but should last for Months.Feeding rabbit and a local Butchers Dog meat with a small sprinkle of

I was not knocking MB, I was explaining what a prefix is,25 years ago I bought a Greyhound pup out of a Weastmead bitch and sired by weastmead Lane, I wrote to Natalie Savvaa asking for permission to register him as Weastmead Castle, although wishing me the best, this was declined as the prefix Weastmead is only used on their Dogs.

well your giving out wrong advice there as mike brown doesnt breed or hasnt bred "laguna" whippets, dorit mckay and her dorit, lyla bond gunning (now lyla wainman) breed the "laguna,s" not mike brown, mike breeds working whippets, with laguna blood quite a long way back in there breeding/pedigree, they are not laguna,s the title of this thread is LAGUNA WHIPPETS Spot on Cocker a prefix belongs to the Breeder, for example in the Greyhounds Westmead prefix is owned by the Savvas, MB does not breed Laguna Whippets, its there in the back breeding, Laguna appears in a lot of Whippet lines, not

Stick to a good working strain of your bog standard Fert and you wont go wrong.

To make it easy, swap a Hob for a jill and have the Hob snipped, that will give you a nice hunting pack,but then it all depends how much ferreting ground you have, to work three Ferts.
