  1. What carp gear have you got mate?
  2. Just give them a good feed before they go out and keep quiet around the warrens, not much else you can do Dont enter any ferrets after 3pm either, just to give a good time before it gets dark. Just google or ebay 'mink trap' they should all be suitable.
  3. I was thinking that, the first pic she looks like a Great dane x Nice looking dogs...
  4. My patterdale plays the big tough guy and just barks for ages and my young beddyx just acts like they are not there So its alright for me really.
  5. I personally cant see there being much difference Prefer albinos though as they are much easier to see
  6. I never use that stuff, I am of the old school of Sprags, dry bumming is the only way to go
  7. Dosent look it to me And I am not talking about the colour.
  8. Not much help but I have seen 'the keepers diary- the whole season' and it was good. More educational than exiting viewing, but I did learn abit from it .
  9. I must have missed something, could someone explain whats happened Thanks, H&J EDIT> Sorry have look at link now.
  10. I am doing countryside and enviroment management at college at the moment and f*****g loving it Although it isnt a gamekeeping course there is a much higher chance of getting a job after and you still get to work in the countryside. I work at a fishery and get to talk to alot of folk and the ammount of people going to do or are doing the Fisheries course at sparsholt is unreal. There are not enough jobs available to sustain it all. sam ewith gamekeeping I suppose.... ATB, H&J
  11. Everyone seems to rave about the goose fat thing. Dosent do it for me, taste far to sweet
  12. No she wasnt, but he probably was. No doubt you will tell me I am wrong
  13. Why do you think its not fair? Because they are sociable and get piss bored on there own. When i had two we had to spilt them up as the hob used to drag my jill round the cage most of the time,, she was a much happyier ferret on her own! What time of the year was this?

  15. Mine have has quite a few, they love them.
  16. Will try and get pics of mine up soon, I have got them in a 6x4 shed now. New comp so no pics on it at the moment.
  17. Same around here. thing is they don't even want to let you on to do a bit a ferreting or ratting. As for the keeper idea if you don't know one already likelihood is he won't want ye. None does nothing for nothing and if you just approach him and say "i want to help you out, do all the hard work all for nothing in return" hes going to know your after something. I wouldn't mind helping a keeper out because you would learn a lot from him but it doesn't end with permission. After been told no on at least 100 farms its much easier at our age to poach. Be seclusive and you won't get caught. And
  18. They are ok, not great but for the price there ok Will do chicken legs etc but nothing heavier. Make sure you clean them out properly after you have used them, or maggots will have a field day  trust me I learnt the hard way Edited to add, I think if you look around you will be able to find one cheaper. Not sure if you have Robert Dias in Ireland, but thats where I got mine for £14
  19. Feck getting a licence, just dont get caught A well known fishery in the south east that I work at has a big problem with the b*****ds at the moment. They have about 35 traps around the main lake
  20. I know but I doubt I would be that bothered to even do it. I have no interest in eating a fox I would try it if it was on a plate in front of me
