  5. Ever since i got my new scope at the begginning of the summer ive had a recurring accuracy problem at times you could get 1 hole groups then all of a sudden you would get golf ball sized groups so for a while i just thought it was the plank behind the trigger until this morning i changed the one piece scope mount that came with the scope for a cheap pair of smk mounts and the problem has gone away i figured it out to be that the clamp that fits onto the guns scope rail was not straight causing it to move everytime it was put in the case so my reccomendation is stay away from one piece mount

  7. Whats the news? Have they shot that c**t yet? ohh and whats that christian? Bonus ball is number 10 Ive won myself 3 pounds and i go for number 1 top notch Richard
  8. Hi. This has happened to me with my raider 10 and the best solution i found was what you have listed above, zero in at about 20 yards then try shooting at 10 and 40 yards if there is any crossover worth worrying about you should notice it. Richard
  9. Hmm depends what you mean by bag if its just a simple ruck sack it may be worth investing in an air arms tdr(take down rifle) Air Arms TDR Or something like this which is only about 37 inches long Carbine Richard Edit to add rifles like these can be found second hand in the for sale section for not very much at all
  10. Hmm bullguard i use simply because ive had the same 70 day trail for ages it just counts down to 0 and goes back to 70 days, i still get the updates and full use of all the features too Richard
  11. Back last year when my polecat was a kit it had a bit off difficulty findout what the bottle was for so i used the lid off and old water bottle and crushed the end of the nozzle with a pliers so it would drip every 20 or 30 seconds it soon learned how to do it and i put the new lid back on. Richard
  12. hmm sounds to me that the seals are gone in your adaptor or on the filling probe of the rifle itself they will only be rubber o rings and cost pennies to replace at a pluming store, worth buying a few so the next time this happens you can just change them over no probs Richard
  13. Yes by looking at the pictures there is a little black knob near to the bottom left of the pressure guage make sure its done up tightly if its not these it may be worth checking all of the rubber seels in the adaptor to the gun and to the bottle. Richard
  14. i know this may sound stupid but shouldent it have a kind of bleeding mechanism somewere along the line so that you can let the excess air out of the hose before disconnecting the filling adaptor? if you have and its undone the air will just go straight out and not into the gun Richard
  15. i had an imatation dog biscuite fly jammed into my cheek when i was trying to teach someone to catch carp on the fly Richard
  16. It happens mate there always someone who wants to be different, who knows what kind of imbreed messes were destroyed when trying to breed that mess Richard
  17. A mate of mine done the same thing with a size 6/0 barbed when bass fishing back a few months just as we were heading past the main headland he decides he wants to test how sharp his hook was he dident see the huge tidal wake that had developed past the headland and as the boat piched very sharply he drove the hook through the top of his finger it was in such a way we could see the point of the hook against the underside of his fingernail  Richard
  18. Yes i'll agree with that one compared to ARC welding Mig welding is the bollox, much easier to do Richard

  21. PSN is for pussies XBL is were the parties at Richard
  22. Dont bother mate i along with most other people who have been unfortunate enough to spend £8.00 on that crap have had accuracy problems because they are cheaply made in the few tins i have baught there have been flat heads in a pack of domed and even a .20 cal in a tin of .22 cals
  23. I suppose if you can get a pellet like a prometheus piledriver at 30 grains moving at 1000 you will be pushing 67 ft-lbs which could do the job at a short range but i suppose people take game like this with .22LR rounds which when subsonic rounds are used can be as little as 31 ft-lbs the bullet used to calculate this was a 29 grain moving zt 700 feet per second taken from some american hunting website Richard
  24. Bloody waste of a good roach that Great pictures them kay Richard
