    Cheers everyone just re mounted the scopes and made a pull through with some strong fishing line and sompe of that white cloth that specsavers gave you with glasses ran it through a few times with wd-40 then a few with mineral oil each one came out black, gonna fire 30 to line the barrel with the napier lead then ill have a go at a good group see how it does Richard

What can cause a sudden drop in accuracy? and i mean from 1 shot to another. well here the story goes about that, got my mother to go out and buy pelllets for me and you can only guess what she come back with fookin napier power hunter so anyway having baught 2 tins of this ####e i went out to check the zero and i was getting one hole groups at 35 yards anyway thaught this too good to be true filled up the 10 shot magazine on my raider 10 again and shot another 10 pellets into the same hole around the size of 20p piece. i was happy as a dog with a bone with this until i filled the magazin

    you could try putting a shim on the rear scope mount to lift the rear of the scope up a little which will move the cross hairs further down Richard

    Cheers lads been searching the internet all morning for a new scope to put on my raider 10 and got my provisional back this morning and booked lessons for the coming weeks, hopefully il be able to attend some of these anual meetings at davy's place. getting ready for a night outwith the lads now Richard

    i shoot a 10 shot in .22 and i have to say it will probably out shoot most other guns more expensive than it. but dont be fooled by the £299 ones they were just cheaply made ones intented for the american market and are nothing to a true english made one Richard

    the end cap is a different shape to the one one my swift silencer and the only suggestions i got is the webley bbmf long that has been modified b the previous owner Richard

    Not caught any lobsters in mine, only used it when i went on holidays and caught hundreds of shrimp and a bloody great big rock crab. you just need to add some lead weights into it and make sure you tie the bait down or eels will make short work of it as they can get out of the trap. Richard

    i think it would leave us with even less power to play with because there are many springers out there that struggle 12 ft-lbs with lead pellets, all tin will be even lighter so ft-lbs goes down. Richard

    i think most pellets are lead/tin alloys anyway so i doubt it will make much difference with all tin, you can get copper pellets now i think or they might just be copper coated anyway they were really inaccurate through my gun and i hope i will be able to use lead pellets for the rest of my days Richard

    just had my renewal letter through the door and on it states that coarse anglers must have two licences to fish with three or four rods. when was this load of bollocks introduced? because ive had my licence checked this year by one of them enforcement officers and he dident seem to have a problem with me fishing with four rods and only one licence. thats pissed me off now because i pay enough to fish on the fisheries themselves now i got to pay double for my rod licence Richard

    I run mine about the house for a few hours every few days all year around keeps them fit as a fiddle they love it, keeps the family happy because they love playing with them and its a great way to socialise new ferrets. Richard

    I am writing this assuming that you dont know much about carp fishing sorry if i offend(it may help anyone else who is curious) Little guide to carp baits Summer In the summer ive had the best results using sweet flavoured boiles in areas baited with small pellets, if its a really scorching day try stuff like bread, marsh mallow or even floater cake flavoured dog biscuits usually soaked in corn steep liquor or something simular but dont feed to late into the evening if i am doing a 24 hour session i usually stop about about 7.30 pm or i find that the fish will be on the surface

    I have a 10 shot raider and it gives about 90 full power shots. when you plug the pump into the gun the guage on the pump will not show how much is left in the gun only what pressure is in the pump and connecting tube only will it show the pressure in the gun when you have pumped enough to get the pressure in the hose connecting the gun and pump together equal to whats in the gun and you can tell when this happens because the needle will stop going up so fast and will slow down to move just about 1mm every pump besides doesent the 2 shot have a pressure guage on the underside of the stock?

    They do so much damage and it all goes unreacocnised by the general public the local forrestry must have spend a lot of cash re-planting trees after they cut them all down just to have them eaten by rabbits and the exisiting trees are dangerouse because the rabbits have burrowed all aroung the roots and they still want to get ferreting band Richard
