I dont think you like them at all, i reacon they got the brain power of about 5 magpies put together and then times that by 2 and that would be a juvinile jay. really smart birds, at times almost impossible to get close too and if you stumble apon one and it flys away doing its screech call you may aswell go home because all other quarry for miles away will be on edge Richard
  7. No i have never herd of this where about is it. got four today with the wee man catching 3 of them and i got the other one but my mate and his grandson took a blank. http://i314.photobucket.com/albums/ll418/whyferret1/liamfish.jpg[/img Fairplay thats a nice fish the lad cerntainly looked like he enjoyed himself Richard
  8. well im 5,8 and 13 stone at 17 years old not a small lad i tell you and a 410 knocked me back a few steps the first time i ever shot one, glad i never had to shot the 12 bore i walked a few hedge lines with, that f****r would of problbay put me on my arse but then again i was never told how to shot a shot gun before i handled it and my stance was all wrong (damn airguning, gives you bad gun control ) well i suppose a sgc would be the first one to go for as i think its easier and quicker to get hold of but for some reason i dont think the police are gonna let a 15 year old run about with a c
  9. Best thing to do would be to ask the fishery owner or bailiffs, they should know what bait is catching and at what depths, on a trout fishery i guess maggots would be banned so it only leaves worm as bait. i dont do alot of trout fishing anymore but my top tips would be constantly change the depth what you are fishing at if your not catching and to explore all areas of the lake dont stay in one spot unless your catching in that case keep calm about it or you will see other anglers slowly making there way closer and closer to your swim Richard
  10. Dont lie lol you jus stumbled upon a jippo camp and thought it would be nice to show us all Looked a nice place to shoot, wouldent feel to safe lamping up there with those mugs about even though il be the one holding the gun Richard
  11. Like most people i learned to shoot using a springer and got preety good at it too then i moved onto pcp about a year ago and never looked back, but a few weeks ago i broke out the old smk springer and i was supprised how hard i found it to shoot it accurately. at the moment my favourite is pcp though i wouldent mind a tx200 or a prosport in the near future. Richard
  12. RWS Superdomes are the shiz mate especially in the raider 10 shot that i have, failing these try accupels, bisley mags had good results with them too. Richard
  13. 27 lb ehh may dust off the fly gear and get myself a permit saves travelling for hours to get to a decent carp lake anyway. Richard
  14. tried a dianna at 18 ft-lbs before, kicked like a fookin mule to be honest and sounded like a friggin grenade when yo pulled the trigger, would much rather stick to my non fac pcp anyday much more accurate Richard
  15. Nant moel is it? i used to fish the lower one alot but it was restricted to worm, fished it non stop every summer or winter cant really remember for about 4 years then it was rumoured that they stopped stocking it so i lost intrest moved onto carp fishing. i think my biggest one out of any of those lakes was about 3 lb not big i know but i was only about 12 at the time. but i still enjoy catching little brown trout from the river aman in cwmaman. whats it like up there now? is it still the basic three lakes that aberdare angling club stock or have they moved on? Richard
  16. Ive heard that blobs are supposed to represent algal blooms or daphnia suspended in the water but i dont know about boobies, plus were are you fishing around aberdare mate? Richard

  22. " I would have just had to answer " T H E S H O O T E R " :11: How did you get on Richard? Phantom I was resting on a flat surface with the gun nestled betwwen pillows so it was hard to miss really if my shooting was really that bad ide give up.
  23. I think i found the problem which would be quality control of the crappy napier pellets the picture shows what i found when i searched through the tin, there appears to be two different shaped dome headed pellets which you cannot see very well, a crossman destroyer type pellet and i even found a few pellets of a lower calibre(furthest one to the left) all pellets are badly deformed and on some the skirts are unreaconisable atleast 90% of the pellets are unshootable as they slip out of my magazine becasue they are too small, and yes it does say .22 on the tin Ohh well it was a
  24. pest control is pest control mate take the big ones with the small ones and if he sees that your doing a good job he may well recomend you to other people and more permission. 40 m with a springer is really good going Richard
