Just seen on the new's the guy who brought in the dangerous dog's act now say's it has'nt worked 16 year's later this clown was sitting at his home (he is now a lord) scaremongering, he said when a Bull breed get's hold of a childs arm (his words) the dog's jaw cannot be prised open until it's dead, that to me is putting the general public into a state of alarm, and anyone who own's any Bully looking dog could soon be alienated. My heart goes out to Ellie and her family, but as it's been said a thousand time's it's the BREED NOT THE DEED.

Most of Plummer's book's are hard to put down, but the like's of Nathan and Trog are up there with my favourite's, i've got a copy of Nathan sighned by Brian. You are right about being able to associate his charector's with people you know or have met. -

Roz is right, a black lakey i had was given a going over by a fox that was sat on a tree root every time he put his muzzle over the root old reynard let him have it but the little guy held him til we dug down and despatched, but on another occasion he killed a vixen and 3 half grown cubs, wish i still had him at times.

I've got a Bull x, he's strong Bull terrier/American Bulldog the dam is an ex-trackdog, i'm pleased with his progress so far he is 13 month's old. This is first season he's level headed with other dog's including terrier's, he,s only 25" but game as anything i've owned in the past.

Simoman suggested wet eczema, one of my bulldog's get's this once a year and it's treat with a carbomer gel called Fuciderm, from the vet's and clears up in a couple of day's. Hope this help's .

No plummer terrier owner is going to come forward to have their dog and to an extent themselves torn to pieces by folk who obviously don't care to much for the breed, they were'nt bred to be earth dog's. I was at Lowther horse trials in 99 when Brian Plummer himself challenged anyone with a terrier to an evening's ratting and there was no taker's, and i,ve been told some good terriermen and terriers go to this show. So again it boil's down to that well worn phrase ''horses for courses''. And no i don't, have'nt and never will own a plummer terrier,

A few years ago while we were at the waterloo cup, a bunch of the scruffy unwashed fecker,s spat at us and threw water-bombs at us but they were,nt full of water Most of our party were young i was 15 at the time. They,d be in for a shock if they tried them shenanigans now. :aggressive: :black eye:
