If a lurcher was game enough to hold a boar, would it's jaw power be strong enough? would it's kneck be strong enough?, if he get's hold, the boar just want's him off and they can throw a dog around, and i would say alot of dog's would not like this. I'm just saying i would be careful about putting lurcher's to these beast's, they are'nt desighned for this game, but there are plenty of dog's on this site capable

If you put 6 dogs on a boar there would be injury's if not death's, even with cut jacket;s and collar's. I also think winter would be a better time, the boar won't have as much cover and may not be quite as strong as in summer, food aplenty.

Where abouts in the north are you matti ? There is a breeding colony of wild boar, (not ferals), in Choppwell woods near Gateshead, escaped from a breeder a few years ago. Regularly seen and causing damage to the adjacent golf course. Cheers. I,m in cumbria not to far away from Gateshead, bet the golfers would like to see the back of them Do you live in the Gateshead area chartpolski?

If you would like a little help from 3 American bulldogs, i,d be up for it and i,m sure they would be. Not that i,m saying bullx would,nt manage i have one of these also. I live up north it,ll be a long time til they breed they're way up here I was in Texas 3 years ago boar hunting althogh this does,nt make me an expert i do know that this is a very dangerous hobby, dog's are never used without cut jackets or wide collars.

Every feild we go in, old uncle is grubbing about. Dogs got to be on lead til it,s checked for them, maybe a little cul would,nt harm.
