We've got to know some guy's in Texas who keep and work A/B's on boar, we went over 2 year's ago to stay with them, a real eye opener i could get used to that life-style, the wife's not really into hunting but even she enjoyed herself. It was good to see a dog doing what it was bred for, before the K.C. get there say on how it should look , they've had 1 go at ruining the bulldog, luckily they don't recognise the American Bulldog as a breed and for their sake i hope they never do. All the best.

We have got 3 American Bulldog's at the moment we've been keeping them now for about 10 year's . I first got interested in them after we had 2 lurcher's stolen, and looking for a guard dog that could be left with my terrier's and lurcher's. I did a bit of research into several breed's but as most of you know the kennel club have ruined many good breed's, a freind told me of the A/B i got a video of them working boar also of an iron dog competition. A local solicitor had a bitch imported from working stock and we still have that line today. For me they are excellent family, guard and working do

Actually, FD i knew Brian very well, i used to go to Raggengill kennel's alot, you are entitled to your opinion's, but i personally find it bad taste and i feel as a freind of Brian and Norma there is no need to speak ill of the dead.

The book written was about his place in Caithness and he moved to Abington 10 year's ago where i found his kennel's to be as clean and free from sheep skulls as the next man's kennel's. Brian never had a coal man as he was on gas, the post man never went down the lane as there was a mail box at the top. We could go on and on.

Well i think his respect has gone straight out of the window How would he or anyone who approve's of this sick ritual like their voice taken away, how do we know it does'nt affect the dog phsycologicaly even if it's thought to be painless. I can't see the need for it under any circumstance :realmad: No real dog person would even think of doing it. All the best

People who get this horrific operation done on a dog should be banned from keeping any animal, also any vet performing the operation should be struck off. :realmad:

I did'nt mean to sound like i was slagging anyone my dog's are never on lead's and chase whatever get's up although where i exercise them not much to chase, there is a difference between exercising and working :11:

I don't think they would stand and fight if they could get away, but even when i'm out with my mob 3 AmBulldog's and a Bullx i would be a bit concerned. But saying that i have a video on banned dog's and on it 1 Dogo Argentino give's a mountain lion a good hiding, obviously not filmed in this country.

It will take about a week of rain to soften the ground up enough to run a dog to it's full potential or to prevent injury, i can't wait for the season to begin, but let's not wish summer away.

Some pup's grow up lankey before they fill out, my own pup has just turned 10 month's he was the other way he was what you would call fat but in the last couple of month's he's starting to turn into a nice looking dog Stick to 2 feed's til your pup is 12 month, and worm regularly good luck. :thumbs-up:
