  2. This is a slightly better pictures of him. I know he is a couple of pound overweight but he will soon burn that off.
  3. Not sure yet Buckskin, he's just turned 12 month's seem's fast enough, caught plenty of rabbit's and a couple of long leg's. I'll put some better pic's of him up, he stand's at 25'' and is about 28 kg and he's very level headed around other dog's and stock. I'm pleased with his progress so far.
  4. This is my first pictures of Ned who is Bull x American Bulldog over a Greyhound. He will be ready for this season.
  5. Imagine if the police or for that matter anyone caught you in the middle of a field in the black dark blowing a plastic c**k, you would be locked up for wee while. Have you tried it skinnyrat?
  6. I thought that clipper look's a bit rotten or the dog's pulled half it's mask off!!!
  7. Nice looking animal's there mate. Bloody Saluki x can be stubborn but look's like they did good, maybe did'nt shout loud enough Are they from same litter?
  8. Agree with TOMO there you can't take it with you and you only get 1 shot at it, it depend's what you think of your dog's, All the best. MATTI
  9. ya same thing as your mate but fate was on my side 3 gypos in a van as they made there get away they hit a rock and got a flat i never ran so fast for a 6ft 2inc and 18stone man as i jumped the gate 1 mouthing what he was going 2 do to me as he fell and i made my way for the other 2 well i ll leave the rest 2 your imaganation they ll think long and hard [bANNED TEXT] they try it again (o ya they never tought they were going 2 run into a2nd ban kickboxer) Good on you pal, i bet they think twice before doing that again. Why would i make a story like that up carra?
  10. Some whippet's are game enough to tackle a fox but i personally would'nt use them for this job as some fox's are as big and heavy as a whippet there making it quite a fight for the dog, i'm not knocking whippet's in any way we used to have an ex racer who caught 3 hare's in front of what i thought was the best lurcher's i've had
  11. It happened in Cumbria, my mate is devastated. Staffy if he catch's the culprit that will be just for starter's. No more than they deserve i would say. All the best. MATTI
  12. Stolen. Bitch 22'' to 23'' white with brindle patch's, saluki x whippet x Greyhound, you can see more saluki than anything. Appleby in Cumbria area. Any info; appreciated. Thanks folk. MATTI
  13. A mate or mine was out yesterday afternoon with his little bitch, she put up old long ear's and raced it for what he said about half a mile, 2 field's away a car pulled up and he thought it was a spectator of this fine sport, but he could'nt believe his eye's when the would be spectator jumped the wall grabbed the bitch and her catch and backover into the car and away, he shouted and ran down the field but it was out of sight by then and did'nt get a good look at the car. She's not in any of the loal police station's he's also tried local gypo camp's with no result's. I'll put a discription of
  14. Now that look's like a good day was had by all.
  15. Could it not be a Fox or Badger that found himself a damson or plum tree that had shed it's fruit, seem's to be a few stone's in among it. Just my guess
  16. Tomo my old china, citizen's advice is run by volunteer's who if they can't help, they get in contact with a solicitor for advice, a solicitor may see this as a waste of time, and time is money with these folk, usually the first half an hour is free then the clock is on, and you're not alway's entitled to legal aid if it does go to court.
  17. The recall need's to be 100% in a familier place ie; garden yard or even the run before it's tried in open space's, also the dog should have total trust in you, some people don't have patience and voice control and even physical correction come's into play. In the past with a stubborn or very confident dog i've found that while exercising hide from them but alway's with them in your sight, when they realise you're not to be found and look like they're are starting to have lost they're bravado step out from your hiding place and make a fuss, it has worked on dog's we've had in the past, hope it
  18. Citizen,s advice might help and is free, it sound's like they want you to admit you've done something wrong, tell them to take a run and jump. Good luck. MATTI

They probably jumped because they lived in Scotland :11:
  20. cheers kris ive heard that before where would i get that.? I was advised a number of year's ago that purple spray burn's the edge of the torn skin, therefore taking alot longer to heal. Saltwater is probably best also try wound powder i reckon it's as good as anything i've found, dettol tcp etc; can be a bit harsh. Dog's tongue's are rough so if they are licking them too much more harm can be done. All the best MATTI
  21. Saluki's can be a bit shy or suspect of stranger's, but that's not a bad thing if he's fine with you and your closest. The arrogance may well be from the Bull.
  22. I hope it never come's to banning rottwieler's, cos it won't stop with just that breed
  23. Have you got home's for them all jeff? A friend of mine is looking for a handy sized rabbiting dog. All the best. MATTI
