  7. The shoot captain on one of my grounds phoned last night to say the farmer had lost 4 hens yesterday morning and could I have a look out to see if we could sort anything. Anyway I lamped the 1st fox near his farmhouse but wasnt a safe shot so I had to circle round the back of the fox and take a shot off my sticks which I dont like doing , I stalked pretty close to the fox , switched on the lamp and to my surprise it was lying down just looking at me , it was a real beauty as well , anyway I missed the f****r , I dont know why but I am shooting badly off sticks at the moment , I must go ou

  12. Went up to Scotland last night for a bit of foxing. I didnt realise it was a full moon and very still , consequently everywhere was quiet. On going up the farm track I spied a rat scurrying about on the track so I quickly jumped out off the motor with my .22 and put it to bed Then we continued looking for foxes , the 1st one I spied should have been in the bag but I couldnt get my cross hairs on it before it slinked into the wood. Anyway I continued on til I saw a 2nd fox but once again no luck as it wasnt a safe shot with houses in the background. I then proceeded to put t

  15. Ruin I am not to sure as to what you expected to see on a hunting site, little dogs chasing balls around some garden??? We are hunters on this site, and believe it or not, we use many methods to take our quarry, and rifles fall into this bracket, be honest what did you expect to see?? Well said mate , keep it real.
