  1. It's just such a shame that most of the folks who abuse the liberal and tolerant atitudes that they're given when they come here and say they don't like the way we carry on don't excercise the right to feck off to somewhere they'll fit in and feel happy. The fact that they were allowed to do what they did AND given police protection is a feckin' disgrace. There's freedom of speach and there's taking the piss
  2. Here ya go, Craig, have a virtual man-hug from me......
  3. Hi, lads. Firstly, I'd like to apologise for posting a photo of myself on a public forum, it was late when I sent the pics to Mr Mole (thanks, dude ) and I'd had a tipple or two so common sence didn't pervail.... I hope I've not put anyone off their food The pics don't do this wood justice, it really is beautiful and you do get a feel for how steep the valley is, even though where we were was one of the flatter bits. Really!! After the cock-up with my ammo. I really wasn't expecting to get a shot off but I was just happy to be there. I'd got a 15 yard maximum range in mind just

  8. If it's any consolation, Darren, I went out today and it was a bit of a feck up. In the last few weeks I've managed to break my best scope then today when zero testing before hunting, I found that I've just bought a duff batch of Dynamics that are utterly useless past 20 yards Pianoman's doing a report of todays, erm... adventure. Cheers

  17. Simon's posted quite a few very detailed and informative posts and replies on various shooting techniques and as a military trained sniper the bloke really does know his stuff. Would it be worth pinning some of his knowledge so as folks can learn from his considerable experience?? What do you think, folks? Cheers Edit..... Just realised..... WRONG SECTION!!!!!
  18. Simple as!!! Nicely put, Simon, spot on. Cheers
  19. No, mate, it should just push straight in. They're not a very tight fit so don't worry about that. One thing though, make sure all of the old fibre washer's come out 'cos sometimes they de-laminate and leave part of themselves stuck to the cylinder. Cheers.
  20. Hi, mate. I guess your 77's a fairly old one if it has the fibre washer?? The newer ones are a nylon/PTFE type and it'll replace the fibre one no problem Cheers.
  21. It'll be interesting to see how you get on with it, Mole, I've never seen a Hatsan PCP and I've heard some very mixed reviews on them on forums. Are you going to Davy's meet BTW??
  22. Hi, mate. The front ring will be the paralax adjuster and that shouldn't cause the problem as you describe it. It's the ring at the very back of the eye piece that adjusts the focus. Cheers.
