  1. Yes, it had me and Simon scratching our heads too, we were convinced it was a scope problem as we'd gone through all the useual stuff and it all checked out fine. The pellets worked very well indeed before so we'd no reason to suspect they were at fault. It wasn't until I swapped scopes with Simon that it became apparent. I've not had chance to set my kit up with the Baracuds that I know it shoots very well with 'cos of the wind we've had this week but I'm out tommorow so I'll set it up then and post the results. I know it may well have been a duff batch but I've really lost confidence
  2. You'll stand out like a hard-on in a nudeist camp where you are, judging by your pics, Mole. Use those ditches as has been said, or at least get yourself as close to the fence as you can.
  3. Thanks for the replies, fellas. Bob, that's a very kind offer but TBH I've lost a little faith in them. I'll send you back the few that I have left as most of them just got slung away in frustration but I do have some left that were in my jacket. Darrly, if you've had the same problem as me then I guess it's not just a one off then. What caliber do you use, mate? Cheers.
  4. http://news.uk.msn.com/uk/articles.aspx?cp-documentid=156412143 Unbelieveable!!!! Not kids after all but grown 'men'. FFS, what the hell were they thinking!!!??? Tossers
  5. Well that seems to be a YES so far, so what about it??
  6. Friend request sent on FB. I'll share as soon as I can
  7. I've seen for myself the way Simon can shoot his 77. I've always considered myself as being quite handy with a springer and I've used them for the best part of 30 years but I've never seen anyone shoot one as well as he does, truly a pleasure to see Genuine one hole groups from a traditional prone position, no fancy rests or supports, just pure skill. Cheers
  8. Archie, mate, it always takes me three or four goes at reading your posts 'cos I just get a few words in then keep getting drawn back to your avatar.... Quality, pure quality...... Did someone mention something about a AA200...???
  9. This has just popped up in the 'for sale' section..... http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/194101-hw-97k/
  10. Nicely done, mate and fair play to Hawke for doing the right thing
  11. You're right there, Barry, it is only the 90 and Theoben's own stuff that can be serviced all of the others are sealed and if they feck up, it's bin time.
  12. I would do but I got the bloody things off ebay a good while ago and I can't find the seller I'll drop Dynamic an email and see what they say. Cheers for the reply.
  13. yep thought you had that glased over, had one to many back in the day look about you Andy
  14. Yup!! Pills were pills in those days I'm a good boy now though Cheers
  15. I guess it's the same as any mechanical device, Barry, sometimes they go tits up. I've had my HW90 for the best part of 15 years and it's never given me any problems and it's been used a hell of a lot. I had a Lightning with a ram for 3 years and it never gave me any problems either, also a Webley Tracker and an Xocet that I fitted with rams and they were fine too although they didn't get that much use, TBH but the Lightning was used on a very regular basis by a mate of mine who used it for pest control on his market garden. A decent spring can set you back over £20 and although a ram

I'd love to be in your position, mate. Maybe I'd best get a poney and trap OH WHAT DID PEOPLE DO BEFORE THE GREAT MOTER CAR, WALK, Kids that lived 17 miles from school didn't go to school in those days. If the schoo
  17. It's a Mole infestation!!!! Call out Rent-A-Kill NOW!!!!!!!!!! Only kidding, Mole dude and dudet. Keep us posted about how you get on with the 200, Mrs Mole. Cracking guns Cheers
  18. Hi, folks. Has anyone else had any problems with them recently?? I've been useing them very happily through my .20 HW90 for the last three years or so but the last box I bought was full of duff ammo. It looks as though the skirt is uneven and the bloody things just fly all over the place. I've probably gone through at least 10 boxs of them and have never even had to discard a single duff or damaged pellet before and now I've got a box full.... Anyone else, or have I just been unlucky?? Cheers.
  19. What was it your mate had to reform the pellets, any chance of a photo? I have tried rolling the .22 between two pieces of flat steel till they fit in the muzzle of my Sheridan but since its not going I cant tell if they will be any good. Also a mate of mine had a sheridan and he found a brand of pellet that the head fitted in the breech and then he was able to force them in with the bolt, they seemed to work too. Not wanting to sound daft or anything here but have you tried useing .20 pellets?? They work quite well in my own .20 rifle
  20. Something else for the church to be ashamed of, that's disgraceful. I really hope your family gets this resolved well. All the best to you all. Cheers.
