Any high ground , bank sides, gullys , ditches, all likly places as said before look the place over look for runs out into the heather when you see rabbit signs you will not be far from there setts just keep your eyes open and watch for the tell tale signs you will be suprised how easy it becomes once you know what to look for get out ther and find them good luck [bANNED TEXT] :ph34r:

fecking computer acting its self there [bANNED TEXT] a six strand brass snare can take at least 6 rabbits it just depends on the animal some bite the wire others dont its as simple as that i have rabbit wires that are years old and have taken dozens of rabbits then i could set one and have it broken just as easily you would deffo get good returns for investing in brass snares you want a few like this brass wires work brilliantly also copper wire if you spin the wire to make the strands a bit tighter :ph34r:

im from the north east [bANNED TEXT] newcastle we normally work 8 ferrets each time we go out 4 each comes in handy when doing the bigger setts :ph34r:

just use the inch rings [bANNED TEXT] make your self say half a dozen have couloured pegs and you will be able to spot them in your bag they come in handy on bigger holes :ph34r: pan most of the digging was 1ft to 18 inches in nice peat the frost was only into the first two or three inches no one has been at these rabbits for years and we had a lot of bolts makes a good day even better take care [bANNED TEXT] :ph34r:

Mitch i made those nets 5 foot really good for the larger holes and they really fold around the rabbits i have around 100 such nets :ph34r:

the keeper lending a hand bloody freezing up here marvelous scenery worth being out in the cold the dog wanted abetter view of the action the rabbits revenge it ripped my mates hand open could have been worse it might have been me well no pics of the finall tally cause someone forgot to charge the batteries :whistle: but we did catch 63 honest :ph34r:

i know the hill [bANNED TEXT] i carried a roe up it last year and it nearly did me in god knows what you were like after dragging three up the same hill nice going [bANNED TEXT] seems since they thinned the forest the roe have moved around quite a lot we will have to push those shelter belts through and have some fun :whistle: :ph34r:

i agree with everything p&g has said these two have just added a basket to glens original method all they need to do when at game shows is to give the man a bit of credit but no they try and say this is there idea fecking liars :realmad: they may have used slimmer fibre glass rods than glen but so what as glen has said many times its easy to think of somthing once all the hard work has been done and i can tell you this brinded never thought of the origanal method of quick set longnetting that was done by my good freind glen waters of scotland a true rabbit

as bullit says make your ferrets a little bit hungrier then they will stick when you dig once i have dug to my ferrets and removed the rabbit its off looking for another one works ok for me but its up to you [bANNED TEXT] how you work your ferret goodhunting all woodga :ph34r:

dont listen to these experts who say no locator get yourself one and your expenditure will be repayed ten fold by the extra rabbits you take plus the satisfaction of knowing where your ferret is we take rabbits professionally and if a locator was not needed i wouldnt have one but [bANNED TEXT] they are and you do jordan what methods would you use if a ferret was lost in a twenty holer ??? 200 holes on one bank side longnetted as well as purse nets 12 ferrets started at 7 am still getting rabbits at 1pm total rabbits 63 . Would have been better if we had done smaller setts but the farmer wanted the warren clearing out did it again the following week and took another 32. To much time involved in doing big warrens if you havnt got enough ferrets to ground the rabbits just run around inside the sett better to stick with 10 to 20 holers better results for less time jmho goodhunting all woodga :ph34r:
