well peg you can say that the lad had a bit of a nerve wracking day when i landed down there as well i finally got to meet the famous rabbit hunter in the flesh he got on with the job all be it with a bit of coaxing from peg the results speak for themselves, the wind died away and killed the chances of some rabbits in the snares but the boy done good he caught with all types of snare, and even set for and caught hares in his wires a good test of anyones snaring skills i hope you make good use of the knowledge that was cramed into those two days the man himself rabbit hunter w

early on they were sorting the pecking order out now they are ok if one starts to grab another by the neck i just paint its neck with that stuff you put on your finger nails that stops you from biting your nails and it works on the ferrets aswell they dont like amouth ful of that stuff its fecking horrible no major problems though GOOD HUNTING ALL WOODGA

hi son from what you are say it seems to me as if as the rabbit has been travelling along its run as its feet have hit the beat and it has started to rise for the next leap the chest of the rabbit has hit your snare knocking it flat as it passed over the loop its back foot caught the noose and pulled it closed this happens because your noose is set a shade low lift the setting hight and you will take the rabbit those tealers look good for a first attempt but try and make the shoulder around an inch wide hope your useing marker pins so you dont loose any wires good luck t

well im pleased you think it is ok just shows how those big loops work. T the warrener had a go at us because we are stealing his thunder for to long he has been spouting rubbish and gullible people have been taken in by his patter on how to snare rabbits. We use the larger loop as it is more forgiving and allows for a full grown rabbit to place its head into the snare loop, The loops we use are 7x 5.5 this may seem big to some people but a rabbit measures approx5.5 inches from under its chin to the tips of its ears and has 7 inches of wiskers on its face i would love to learn h

good selection of twines and nets there [bANNED TEXT] hope it takes off for you GOOD HUNTING ALL WOODGA
-
mitch that seven strand stuff is excellent only one problem with your tealer the eye of the tealer wants to be facing the other way so when you attach your peg and twine it catches the twist and is pulling away from the snare hope you know what i mean good hunting all wooga
-
mitch your right about the tealers the single tealer works well in firmer ground and is easy to set the figure 4 tealer in soft grond stops the snare moving a round if it gets windy an eyelet twisted onto the end of your snare will work fine no problems there only worry i have is the fact your using three strands of copper seems a bit thin to me with out actually seeing the snare . when you spin the wire have you got a nice light tension on the snare ?try a few out and see the results first before you make a good few for future use. i have copper snares made from 1.5mm cop
