I had a paper round too, but back then people never had these silly draft excluder things in the letter box. Even worse some have these plus a flap on the back, so I can confirm that with some letter boxes you need to really feed a soft and flexible leaflet right in with your fingers.

Everybody knows their dog and if it were mine I would put a cage behind the letter box. Owners fault in my opinion.

I think a lot of people are basically atheists, but through social conditioning feel that it would be somehow unlucky to deny there is a god. Kind of hedging there bets just in case, quite irrational I know. For the most part I think most rarely give it much thought or care either way.

The woman who would probably take over from him is Diane James, I watched her on a debate with a bunch of East London students. It was a very hostile group of many ethnicities, as you would expect, and I thought considering it really was a no win situation, she did very well. She is no Farage, but then again he is up there with the best orators right now. So UKIP will carry on regardless, it will be a massive blow and set back but I think the foundations are laid and they are here to stay.
