  1. I have a new catty for sale on ebay at the moment. Really nice curly maple, got it from catapult kid who is on here. There was a bit of a mix up and unfortunately it is for some one who holds it with there left hand and pulls the elastic with there right so no use to me. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=260355242336
  2. It surprises me how much more snow you get in Kent than we do here in Surrey. Had no snow yet.
  3. I think you've got it spot on, stick too much in the mix and it will take for ever to get a line breeding consistent.
  4. Good to see young Ted coming on so well, great little dog, how tall is he now?
  5. Could someone please give me a link to where there is a permission letter i can print out. Thanks

    Which dog?

A lurcher, probably not something with too much collie in it as it could be a bit too active. Beddy cross maybe.
  7. I'd have trouble giving up a dog that looked at me like that.
  8. I bought mine from North East too at sale price and was delivered using recorded delivery in less than 48 hours. Never used a ferret finder before and found it tricky to put the collars on them to start with but got the knack after a few goes. All in all happy with it. Shepp
  9. Mines silent when out but sticks her head in the air and sings like a hound when she's playing.
  10. I think it depends on the individual dog, my beddy loves water and my mates whippets are quite happy to go in.
  11. I have two jills and a hob which i plan to get vasectomised, i think this is the best option. You need two ferrets to work and you wont want to risk loosing a vasectomised hob which you have shelled out fifty quid on so he can stay at home. I'd start work on a good size ferret court now if i was you mate. Good luck. Shepp
  12. not a bad price that I thought it was fine, you can probably get cheaper but i was recommended this seller and better to pay a little more than to buy twice.
  13. how much were your nets pal? 15.50 for 10 plus pegs at 3.50 for 10, got plastic ones with mushoom heads, work really well after i drilled holes in them for the cord.
  14. I would try and give the vet a call tonight if it was me.
  15. Looks more whippet than saluki mate.
  16. The Welsh certainly know whats in their sheep, all 6" of it
  17. Been out today for my first ferreting trip in 18 years due to giving up and taking a long break from it. Used the ferret finder for the first time, which i found good but luckly not required. I found it fiddly to fit the collar on the ferret, with the first one i took so long the ferret stared getting snappy, so i got the other ferret out. It's there first season and the one i used went down and worked well with just a bit of messing about on the first hole. I bought some 10 oz 1 meter nets from KP & S Nets and i found them good quality and with the extra weight they were very nice to wo
  18. She's turned out to be a bit of a unit really, measured her today and was surprised to see she is nearly 16 1/2" tall Not too worried really, she was only for bushing and the odd rat
  19. Weirach HW100 S Carbine with Bushnell sights, lucky me it was a christmas present from mum and dad.
  20. No mate I got her off a pest controller in Yorkshire
  21. Here are a couple of photos I took last week, she seven months now, my collie grey always winds her up but she does'nt back down. She carrys her tail high, is this a undesirable trait for a bedlington?
  22. Great looking pups SJ, i'm sure they will be well appreciated. Seven months down the line with my bedlington and i'm well pleased, feisty little thing and quite smart for a terrier.
