  1. I don't think they care so much about food as they do the chase.
  2. Looks like they should have good coats, if i did'nt buy a beddy some weeks back then i would have thought seriously about one.
  3. Nah I normal have breakfast for breakfast
  4. Labour has been borrowing during the good times to pay for the hugely inflated public sector, handouts and poor policies. Now things will be tighter so less taxes from business, VAT etc, more unemployment benefits to pay, so they will be looking at us to find the money. Expect some very serious changes over the coming years, i believe this is not just a temporary downturn. The biggest worry for me is if the government can't throw money at the scum to passify them, like they have been, then they will be theiving off us workers to pay for their fags, steller, pizzas etc.
  5. I was thinking that too mate, she's a bit worse now, coughing up sick. A trip to the vets tomorrow.
  6. I just wondered if any has seen these symptoms before. My 4 month old beddy pup is a bit unwell, she is not running about as usual and keeps coughing up spit say ten times an hour. She ate her breakfast and kept it down but has slept a lot today. Cheers Shepp
  7. There are quite a few settled traveler families round my way, nearly all good working people, friendly and very quick to help you out. I went to school with a few and only realised what there backgrounds were many years later, looking back now they did have a look and a way about them.
  8. That's a nice strong looking cross, looks likes the beddy has the stronger genes.
  9. I know buying off the internet is a bit of a gamble so when I come across a little gem I like to share it. I bought a lead from a maker and seller on ebay last week and I really think it is excellent quality. It is hand cut and stitched bridle leather, plain and simple, ideal for the field and just great value for money. She tells me she can make up all types of collars including lurcher. Check her shop out. The link is below. http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Saltire-Leathercrafts
  10. We could have a useful tips thread on the site.
  11. She's a lot racier than I would of imagined.
  12. That's a great bit of writing Bill, would not look out of place in the sports pages of a newspaper. Some excellent replys following too.
  13. I had a handle of this gun yesterday in the local gun shop along with the HW100, I prefered the 510 for looks and feel. I see this gun has a silenced barrel, how does it compare the the silenced hw100 noise wise?
  14. Jim do you think if my tomatoes are not up to much, then would it be a waste of good ingredients to try and make chutney with them. I eat tomato chutney all the time and it's not cheap to buy.
  15. Has anybody found there tomatoes lacking flavour this year, mine are very fleshy and not juicey either.
  16. Well....you will go putting all these "adverts" in the local telephone boxes........lol It was a bloody woman doing it a long story Yes I know these one night stands can sometimes backfire
  17. One of my pup chilling out, she always wants to get up off the ground. Quite a unique character these bedlingtons, mines bold but sensible, fairly independant but quiet and intellegent for a terrier. Great little dogs and I think I'm hooked on the breed. Shepp
  18. My collie cross barks at strangers near the house but not really formidable enough to deter someone.
  19. Don't the bull cross lurchers guard then, they are certainly built for it?
  20. Thats very true.. I was hoping to meet other like minded people but most didnt even know what ferreting etc was. Saying that none were antis, alot of them thier got the grades but didnt really have a clue about the countryside or wildlife That was a concern of mine and I was hoping the hippies would go for the more conservation side of things. I'm not one to keep quiet so I could well be involved in a few arguments.
  21. I don't like the idea of adding meat, there is plenty of sugar for fermentation in the apples.
