When I was a kid, when people went to Butlins, it was common place to leave kids in the room while parents went to the bar. Parents would leave a laundry basket outside the door so that other parents walking by could keep an ear out for crying.
Things have changed a lot I know, but the change is mostly the fear of danger, there is not really a greater risk than years ago.
I don't really understand the venom people show towards the Mccannes. Why would anybody wish criminal charges be made against them when they have lived through a hell that most of us could never imagine.
