Douglas Link is/was a breeder of brassicas and a grass. collected information off of various gamedog forums and passed it off as his own. set up his own "gamedog" forum, then posted links on various anti sites suggesting they read it. would also post under various different names, and even argue with himself to stir up a debate! Hardly someone who's book i'd rush out and buy... yokel.

was a fell x russel, worker to worker (earth dogs). done nothing to get him to know the difference, just showed him work. i suppose once he was of an age, and got entered to fox, that was the main job he was used for, but he definitely knew what was expected of him under different circumstances. he would rat in the summer, bush to put gear out for lurcher and also came out beating on more than one occasion. but he was first and foremost a fox dog, never false marked, never failed to find and would stay all day if required...oh, and you never needed to dig more than one hole...have some pics kn

I don't think it's too much to ask ,I start my terriers out at 12 weeks and they hunt everything fur and feather, gets them using their nose and wisens them up , I have never dug a rabbit and I dig a lot ,think most dogs are too clever for that! same as that. one of the first terriers i owned i would take out at a young age and have him on everything, as you say, fur and feather. he turned into a great fox dog and i never had no bother with him f***ing about on bunnys. sounds daft, but if i had a shovel over my shoulder and he had a locator round his neck, that dog knew what was going on and

I'll wager, had he totally spinned out and freaked, the BBC would NOT have pulled the plug on showing this. But as he had a positive experience, it was to dangerous to show to the rest of the country... Yokel

Don Draper??? You’re charming and talented, in part because you’re a master of deception. You try hard to be a good person but slip up when you give in to your sexual urges. Yokel

here's a train of thought to peruse over. at the end of the 18th and into the 19th century, if we are to believe the history books, certain sporting types began crossing the heavy bodied bulldogs of the day with the game, earth working terriers in order to produce a more agile fighting dog. now these first crosses must have thrown all sorts of types, ranging from terrier size to bulldog size, and , the ideal, somewhere in between. i have heard many a discussion between game dog fanciers, where they would argue this cross never took place, and that the box dogs of today are pure bulldawg from y
