Just have a Photo taken in the Summer of a 'Cock Bird' up on your Wall....my tip, lol.

Must admit it sounds a bit of a complicated little carry on id rather keep it simple and be as safe as possible whatever it takes Part of what I was saying was...HAVE THE RINGS CHECKED PROPERLY, RINGS CAN BE A MINE FIELD TOO! Meeting in a Layby is something which happens very often, with little or no experience of checking Rings, you will get bit a lot of times.

It is perfectly legal to use a 'Live catch Trap' for Cats, IF they are causing problems with your property. Once caught take it to a Shelter or get it collected and keep doing it. Most charge the owner once they come to recover their Pet, after a few £25 Bills and the hassle, they tend to think again before allowing the Cat to roam freely. YOU ALSO should electrify the fronts and Rooves of your Aviaries. It isn't hard and the Cats only need a bolt once to keep them away for the day. You only need one for 1km of Wire, a roll of wire and some Hose Pipe. I am sure you could figure out how to set

Hi mate, Get the Bird to step up with a tidbit, do a bit of manning and checking gear and weigh the Bird anyway. While on the Scales put it's daily ration by the Bow, ready for when the Bird is put back. Daily ration is weather dependant and weighing the Bird anyway, will show you how much to give. You can't overfeed if you use the Scales and get to know how the Keel feels at certain weights. Plus you won't overfeed drastically over a few days anyway, if the Bird is on weight in good weather.

If we are working awkward Hedges and lots of undergrowth, we net the runs in and out of the Holes and through the Fences. The Rabbits are like Rats, they run their familiar runs and usual points of entry and exit. If long enough we cut a narrow path up across the Hedge and use Hedge Nets that I make. This cuts the Hedge into sections making it easier, they run the tops of the Hedges too. Remember the 7 'Ps' and do all your cutting and stomping about on a day you are not working those Warrens.

A GOOD Net dog, Ferreting or Long Netting, should never touch any Rabbit when in the Nets.........with a lot of the clips on you tube etc it seems more accepted, but I won't tolerate it. Not an observation or dig on your pics 'CJ', the Topic and your pics just prompted me, each to their own.

if you are on your own, the best aid to have is a good length of Rope and a bit of 'common dog'.

Had some offers via PM, but also been told to keep hold of them. I am unsure, so unless I get an offer I'd be silly to turn down I will keep them. I can't find the 21 year Plate right now, so best to assume it is just the two other ones.
-
I don't know what they are worth, been told to put them on e-bay............any offers.

Fell and Moorland commemorative Plates, Mint condition, no chips, cracks or scratches........ 25 year Plate, 40 year Plate and somewhere in the Loft the 21 year Plate (according to the other half, probably broken!!). First two definitely in view. South West. Sell separately.

One Dog Pup SOLD.

Pedigree, Line-bred Litter, on Grand Father, of GWP's. Both Parents are KC Registered and are working. Sire is a dual trained Dog, used in early life for Shooting and now exclusively for Stalking. He has proven himself in the Field and at Home as a Family Dog, he is 9 and this is his first Litter. The Dam is 5 and it's her first Litter, she is also dual trained, initially for the Gun and now exclusively works under Hawks. She has a good Prey drive and both Parents have killed and retrieved Foxes, so neither are afraid of things which can Bite. The Sire was chosen for his working abilities, pro

Good luck for tomorrow, hope you have some good weather for the right type of flights............went away with a Gos once, got her fitter and keener and made sure she had some long slips, using a Lurcher Lure Machine.....4 hour trip and little sleep the night before, then it p.issed down and blew a hooly for the next two days. We had a lovely quiet trip back to Devon in the Defender!!.......oh the joys!..lol. Have fun.

OK, thanks, was a little worried he was showing us that was a Cock Mule, put to a Canary and the resulting Eggs/Young.
-
So what are you saying 'Millet'? Not too sure.....Explain the connection between the Canary and Mule, or are you just showing how Broodiness can effect Hens of all species?
-
Just quick tips 'Spartan'.....don't let it become a chore for yourself. Keep the numbers down, don't take all and sundries cast offs and try to have a direction.

Been after a Peregrine Falcon for years now, either only Tiercels for sale, or the Parents have never seen a days work or the price tag is too high for a Falcon..........Flown several Hybrid Gyr Sakers and Pere Sakers at Crows/Rooks, Pheasant and Partridge and I love Kite work, but never had the inclination to travel my Birds that far and go through the expense included just to say I have done it....as of yet, never say never. I will admit I have enjoyed watching good dogs work a Moor followed by a 'waiting on' Bird give it some welly, when watching others clips and Doovdas.
