Nothing wrong with standing up! What the government don't seem to understand (or do and want it) is that their are putting innocent people in the firing line. When it kicks off do you think the average Brit can tell the difference between a Sikh or Hindu or Buddhist and a Muslim? Everyone will be in the cross hairs!

They had no choice but to come back and continue! They still suffered but like men they had to suffer in silence in them days. Kinell 25 years earlier men were shot for shell shock (PTSD). A generation "almost" broken and still found the strength to continue and rebuild. Built differently to todays wankers.

He was in action I believe from the word go. I posted his war paybook a couple of weeks ago. I've loads of shit to go through of his record and service. Imagine this, the British gov denied him a war pension because he was a non-combatant. All the horror you see in Saving private Ryan and such films, times it by a 1000 and that's what these men were seeing daily. These men stormed the beaches, villages, towns etc exactly the same but to save lives of their men. My grandad was shot and given the option to end his service.... His answer was "I'm not leaving my boys out there alone" he went

I'm told right before his deployment for D-day. Combat medic, mum told me he had nightmares but never once spoke about it or asked for help. After the war he continued his mission to help his fellow man.

It's a hard explain what our grandfathers and grandmothers went through when you look at the state of the state right now and ask them to honour the dead and fallen of the past who gave their lives so that we could have ours. We as a union and as a continent have allowed their sacrifice to become no more than a footnote. Not in my house!

I would be 100% behind a military intervention until democratic elections could be restored. Also, I would be 100% behind their actions in controlling the both far whatever groups, whether that means deaths will happen or not. Restoring law and order in Blighty is supposed to be the remit of the police and parliment, they have failed! The only options left are complete break down of social norms and everyone going at it or... Military intervention with the aim of restoring what we know to be our way of life and values.
