Ha ha. Its ok he knows whats going on i've told him. I havent dropped him in it with anything but carry on feeling sorry for him cus thats the nicest u've been to him so far! When he joined this site he did it cus he has a passion for hunting but now no one on here is gonna give him the time of day all because he tried to sell a dog very reluctantly. I'm sorry if i've made it worse for him but that was not my intention. I wish u could all see us in person so u knew the real us and could see how genuine we really are. listen there's only one way out of this for you both to still hold heads

first of the evening anyone remember the freaky dog-things from ghostbusters i shot the rab in the wood earlier and left it where it lay to see if she could find it in the dark, before i sent her in she didn't know it was there p.s. Pardon my french :censored:

i often walk my dogs on a similar field that has cattle (nosey b*****d bullocks) on it. I always have the dogs off lead but within a couple of meters from me if the bullocks come close the dogs leave it up to me to sort it without commotion they're well stock trained. This i think is not the law but is acceptable! if any damage is done to your stock and you know who did it then it is a matter for the police and if they investigate and cannot find a criminal crime you may have to launch civil proceedings. or just give the offending dog a long range peppering

this is close to my heart as we have a rescued minature bull that has serious issues with most other four legged animals we've had her for 8 - 9 years and she is retired to the mother in laws but in that time she's never managed to get hold of anything she wasn't supposed to except some prick who attacked the mrs and we had three other dogs besides "mini". so i ask ya how difficult is it to be aware and on the ball???? anybody that buys an animal then sells it on trying to excuse the fact that he's making profit (400%) by comming up with a b#llsh#t excuse about a cat and higher prices coz it

I said a good home thats y im not letting him go for nothing to anybody . So [bANNED TEXT] do you think your playing at the fact is the lurcher could be worth 20 quid that means nothing to me i want a good home for him and i wanna offer a good home to a lurcher. I did'nt advertise on here but i -
try advertising on other sites maybe but make sure ya get good homes or it aint worth it in the long run. pups welfare is priority good luck mate.

heres the ad I have for sale a lively miniature bull terrierhes roughly 17 month old and is a lovely lad i am selling as he does not get on to well with one of my dogs so must go . He is good with my young boy so good with kids. He can be kenneled or live in house and is very clean in both. he is a very strong boy and his collar and lead are included .. Good long term homes only £250 is a big jump from the £50 paid for him not saying it set out to be but this seems to be about a little money earner instead of the dog!!! -
here's my little mo retrieving this is not a set up!!! i shot it she picked it up from where it lay my mo retrieving

got one to in same cal and mine loves the accupells tried other pellets some with success some not. The bisley magnums are good but you'll need some serious adjustments to the zero first (took me a while but got used to the over curved trajectory) they really slammed the rabs down and out
-
what the buggery hell is going on all the photo links lead to the same crappy logo! no pellet photos, no FREE samples in the true meaning of the sense, no real identity and worst of all your only on here to make few remnimbi. If your serious and i'm wrong contact the moderator yourself and sort it out! :db: it is your company. is'nt it??? :db:
-
in addition try looping the lead when you change direction let go of the loop it'll give an extra jar and maybe a little more incentive
-
i love it when people meet my dogs, jack x patt, jack and a very large jack cross (seriously he's as big as a lab) who are all great natured and comment how lovely they are. Then watch their faces drop when i tell 'em what they do for a living

tennis balls don't like using tennis balls for some reason she likes to squash them but the mrs has gone out in the car with the dummies in the boot sorry!!! plus the other mutts as ya can see like to muck about and get involved and she looses concentration so didn't want to do to much but it gives you a slight idea. now know how to upload videos watch this space for some proper rabbit retrieves

Just goes to show you how bad I am with weights....I would have sworn she was lighter than that. My bitch was 24lb so what's that?......11kg? 24 pounds = 10.8 kilograms i know i thought she was much lighter but the vet weighed her and she shy of 15 kilos don't want her to be to heavy though or she'll get tired easily but to look at her she looks skinney it's bizzare
-
ha ha she does hopefully we'll see how she developes with her whistle and signals, fingers crossed mate i'll have the strangest gun dog in country :D
-
i'll try and video some retrieves and post them to show how she works. i think shes an exception rather than a rule her mouth is soft whereas the breed is reputed for it's not so soft mouth. My little mo is for her age and size a very strong, fit and determined dog, she weighs in at nearly 15 kilos which is all muscle and strength. :D

lets go but likes to have a sniff. these photos are what she has retrieved tonight. bless her the pregnant doe is nearly as big her but she carried it to my hand and not a mark on 'em (except for the pellets ) little trooper that she is did this after she'd caught her eye. (see her squint in the pics) haha! it nealry is! how old is she again? thirteen monthes old mate her dad was a long legged irish staffie and her mum was a normal run of the mill staffie. she's just a minature of her dad but christ is she strong. as you can see from the rabbit in the pics she just will n

Springer retrieves but wont come to me
mushroom replied to ryanwylie's topic in Gundogs & Retrievers
run away backwards from her as she returns (she'll follow) calling her to heal then start by taking the retrieve whilst moving and over time slow how fast you move away from her and eventually you'll get her moving slowly on heal with the retrieve. This is when you get her to sit with the retrieve and then take it from her. i know this might sound patronising it's not meant to but always give the same release command. hope ya sort it mate -
i'll get some proper pics of her working tonight

cheers little butch. that's a sick bull terrier we've got a minature retired to the mother in laws she's 16
