  1. mostly jack with a dash of patterdale they are five weeks old on thurs. Dad sh#t hot worker fears nothing but is little tall mum is a small jack, both parents are available to view with pups £150 fully wormed but not vaccinated. pm me anyone interested. this one love to attack his litter mates (playfully of course) preston, lancs area

  4. not heard of it neither but have notice a couple of rabbits on one piece of land acting a bit drunk. As in walking out of cover and sitting in front of me, took the little buggers out and burned the carcases. No signs of mitzy but best to get rid.
  5. i'll always have my little pal (a webley stingray 2 in .22 springer) even though i'm on a huntsman. just love the fact it is harder to shoot than the daystate, get more satisfaction.
  6. get the breed that suits your style and start it on a starter pistol (smal blanks) as soon as is proper, give little piece of meat/whatever every time you fire. this will help the dog to assciociate the noise with something positive and prevent gunshyness
  7. Been out this morning popping a couple rabbits off for the dogs, fezzers, humans (in that order). I had with me my 1year old, still in training staffy bull who has been going out into the field for about three weeks with some cracking retrieves both blind and marked in that time but this morning took the biscuit. shot a rabbit at bout seventy five to eighty yards out the dog couldn't see the rabbit when i shot it. i sent her out blind and she fetch the still alive rabbit from dense cover in a ditch i was surprised it was still alive as it was a text book heart lungs shot but not a mark on it f

  11. i've just bought a new scope that has a mil-dot ret' and as sad as this sounds i'm not totaly sure i'm using it right. anybody help??? p.s. the scope is zeroed at 35yards
  12. i agree that i would be miffed bout being sold a x as a ped' but if the the pups grow into good workers and the price was right then who cares???
  13. i know it sounds gay but the fellow of the telly, dog whisperer has a book called cesar's way, VERY good book teaches all about dog psychology and how to deal with issues like yours without having to pin to submission helped my get my staffy to heal and stay there might help you!!!
  14. got a jack bitch and a patt x jack dog bout to mate anytime now, so in bout three to four months pups should be ready. dog is excellent rabbiter and all round worker and has no fear of going to ground. the bitch is a useless pet thanks to the wife, but her last litter of 5 all went to be workers not had any complaints yet.
