Mate welcome to the air gun section. To be honest with you the rifle that you are talking about isn't one that many members if any have in here. In terms of air rifles its a low quality rifle when compared to other brands but that said it can be used after practice to shoot medium range vermin if that's what you wanted it for. When I say medium range I mean out to 20 to 25 metres probably maximum. In 1997 I owned this rifle myself when it was called the Custom Lion. I used it to good effects in Bosnia shooting ferals and magpies. I also shot the odd rabbit with it. Power

Hi lads, I should of thought and put this down before, as Roger is quite correct in asking if he as not been before. I do apologise mate. Davy Chaz and me will be at the location from around dinner time onwards setting up the plinking range and other bits and bobs. All are welcome to attend and help if they wish from dinner time onwards. If attendees have their own metal knock down / spinning targets it would be nice if they could bring them to add to the plinking range and we could set out some super testing targets to get your teeth into. Friday evening will be a large bonfir -

Mate before Davy turned up I had a go with Malc's custom Hornet that we set up with OGives. At 25 metres it was 1 hole and i mean 1 hole pellet diameter size groups. At a further distance of 40 metres Malc tells me that the group hardly opens up any bigger. We then went and shot a 61 metre small metal bell on top of a wooded post in a field when Davy arrived from the standing un supported position. Malc took it first shot with the Hornet and OGives buddy, so they must be good in some rifles. I hit it 4 times on the trot with the SFS tuned .22 HW97KT from the same standing u -

I used FX 16 grain. Look at this: Fast forward to 7.23 and watch the 45 and 50 metres shots with a FX 16 pellet. All the rest is boring and it was early in my video editing career. Si.

Hi Craig, The springers are very very good quality rifles pal and accurate as hell. In fact I would say stupidly accurate and both our rifles are not fully bedded in yet so things can only get better as they say. If I'm honest with you out of all the shots I took with it yesterday I only missed 1 or 2 rats and 1 mixy rabbit and that was because I shot at the rabbit and the pellet sailed way over its head only for me to realise I had forgotten to turn my mag up from x 4 to x 10 . Footage should be on Malc's channel soon. Si. -

Hi lads, Well that's me just got up after a good afternoons sleep after shooting all night and some of the morning today with Davy and Malcolm (Malc) Barnard from CountryPursuitsTV. Me and Davy invited Malc to one of our shared rat shooting permissions in Oxfordshire a few weeks ago to which Malc gratefully agreed accordingly. After meeting Malc at the location I took him to meet the farmer and introduced him to Steve (the farmer) so Steve knew who he was and what he looked like, just in case Malc was spotted later in the evening and suspicions to whom he was was raised. Brilliant news pal, but to be honest after seeing Tony work on your rifle when I was there the first week I new it was going to be very special. Cant comment about the Combro as I use a F1 so don't have that problem buddy sorry. I have since using mine a lot and practising loads over the past few days found AA Field Plus at 18 grain deadly in the HW97KT. I have now shot a rook witnessed by LJ and 3 poorly rabbits, with 1 at a range I would be proud of with my .177 HW100 S. One of the rabbits, the furthest was witnessed by Malc Barnard and filmed on his camera. I had to take the sho -

Cheers Craig, Yes as soon as time permits (VerminHuntersTV channel is full on at the moment)and its had another tin of pellets through it so i know its totally settled down in its own firing action i will do a review of it buddy. If yesterdays results are anything to go by its going to be one hell of a accurate and smooth springer. Si. -

Cheers Stevo buddy. Just seen the spelling error "shots guns" never mind, that's what happens when you edit at midnight LOL. Yeah as I've always said Tony is the man when it comes to tuning springers. I asked him about if he tunes pcps and he said he can but he doesn't as they have enough work with springers and there are plenty of specialist pcp tuners in the country. They do a sfs tuned and moded co2 rifle that they call the sfs Hobby. Tony says in the summer months when co2s arnt effectsd so much by cold temps this small rifle is a massive seller and game keepers buy them
