Had mine all fixed up last year and been ok since, I've always stuck with the same guy he's got his own business and gas safe, said he could supply and fit a new ideal combi boiler for just under 2 grand

I think the most important thing to gain strength or size is to have a good spotter and train to failure then do a couple assisted reps on your last couple of sets I see so many young lads doing their 8 or 10 or whatever they've been told then putting the weights down before breaking a sweat, just adjust the weight be it up or down so you fail between 6-12 reps But you will hear a different way to train from every person you speak to and they all know best?

I started with a multi gym when I was young but to be honest you can't beat free weights mate, a cheap basic incline/decline bench and a basic set of weights would do you better and take up less room also

I have a leisure/caravan battery that I use for my fox fence that goes around my smallholding, it has a little indicator window that shows green when charged but goes black when needs charging It's a sealed maintenance free battery My problem is that the water inside seems to have dropped lower than the window as it just looks clear and can only see green when I wobble it Is it fooked? Still seems to work ok but I don't see how it's dropped as its sealed? Any ideas?

I kept a small flock for about 8 years, nice to look at not to fussy for good ground but a real bugger to catch when you need to do anything with them They lamb fine on their own are very hardy and independent but if you want something you can handle if you have kids etc then maybe something more docile

]I've already had rhubarb and ginger gin this summer, it was lovely. Looking forward to repeating my bramble gin on a bigger scale than last year and I am going to try the damsons when I get my hands on them. You have to try the bramble gin, it's cracking.... Myself and a mate are also about to start our brewing lab in his place...looking forward to getting back into the beer and wine making, always liked it.... How do you make your bramble gin? I might try bramble vodka

Batch I started yesterday already changing colour, this is 1lt vodka 550g sloes and no sugar The next one I'm going to try half sugar at start about 100g then sweeten to taste when it's nearer done

I'm going sloe picking tomorrow as they are early this year, it's been a good year I think as the hedges at my smallholding are thick with em I make sloe vodka as I don't like gin, does anyone else make it? And what recipe do you use? I usually put the sugar in at the start but have read you get more flavour out the sloes if you put it in before bottling?, may try that this year

After much reading of reviews and comments and watching of utube videos I went to the gun shop today to treat myself, I still wasn't 100% what to get when I walked through the door but knew that I wanted a good old spring gun as I like the simplicity of pocket full of pellets grab gun and go I've done the pneumatic thing years ago (mk1 rapid) and loved it but wanted to keep the cost down and have less bits and bobs I decided to get a TX200 in .177 , all my others air guns over the years have been .22 so just fancied a change, I put a hawke 3-9x50 ao ir sport hd scope on a one piece mou

So I suppose my next question is will the f***er start on my flock of geese? I have nowhere big enough to shut them away and of course they need the grass in the paddocks I have 7 adult and 6 half grown goslings they are very protective so I hope it won't mess with them -

Hope photo works Just when I thought it was sorted it's now hitting my ducks their run has loads of tree cover and they spend most their time under the low trees so I thought they would be ok, obviously not, had one in pic dead and cleaned to the bone and another had been struck on the back and is hurt but may make it Ducks are now in pen with chickens with so many CDs dangling above them it looks like an 80s disco -

The last hen and goslings were killed inside the pen as I had shut them away after finding the first one killed, the pen is pegged down all round and 6' tall nothing had dug or ripped in No bodies today hopefully the string and CDs have worked -
