  2. I repaired one for the second time in 3 years last month. This time for the roof i am using concrete paving slabs, that someone had finished with ( wether they had or not ) supported by a decent bit of thick timber. The ply i used previously eventually rotted through, though i must admit i am a bit how do when it comes to D I Y
  3. Brilliant mate, teach 'em young, i remember having my lad out on his first "dig". Told him to stand still and watch the nets with his .410 ,stood stock still while i dug and never let them nets out of his sight He was shaking so i asked him if he was cold,he said he couldn't stop his legs from shaking he was that excited/nervous My lad a few years back with his Russell he was "given" lucky sod.

  6. Well done shag, makes it all worth while eh.
  7. I use the Mk 1 stuff and have done for years, i know it aint perfect and that there is far better on the market but , and it is a but, the stuff is expensive. I dont buy all this insurance salesman stuff about, if you value your dog etc, etc, blah, blah, drone Your B& F gear aint no protective shield, first aid kit and the mole out of Thunderbird 2 all in one. Yes it is chuffing good stuff, takes a lot of guesswork out of pretty much all situations which is great :thumbs-up: However, it is still too expensive in my estimation , remember those LED watches in the 1970's, w
  8. FFS, well if your ever in trouble that Steven Newcombe is the bloke you want defending you. I bet he could get Steve Wonder a driving liscence, the judge must have been pissed as well, how the f*ck has this tw*t helped the country ?, by relieving it of 40 large
  9. Just come off the B & F web site myself and thinking of upgrading. http://www.bellmanandflint.co.uk/(S(zh5m1g...))/default.aspx Now call me a tight b'tard but it don't half seem a lot of money  I'm tempted to ask if they do catalogue terms  Out last week with me mates and the B & F kit came up in conversation, think i'll wait 'til they have a sale though Matulokh (or however you spell it) put something interesting about a cheasper version the other week.
  10. Very good, nice smooth Russel there misses :thumbs-up:
  11. You've got to hand it to them from over the sea, they do make a good post.Took me 2 hours to put a chuffing picture up Well done shag.
  12. Well how did he hear then The dirty ferker seems to have bled on it
  13. Sorry Ginge but it don't make sense to me to have a terrier that you don't want to do earth work with and it don't do the Border as a breed any good either.I've seen loads of Borders work and mine are ok for what i do but to be fair to any breed of dog, why not get one that the does the job/jobs you want them to naturally. I'm sure you will get a Border and have it doing everything you want but if its a proper Border or any terrier for that matter it won't be afraid of the dark matey
  14. I don't like shooting the things as they are too heavy An Estate near me shoots them to stop the nice Gentlemen from other counties coming and taking them of a night time, me personally as i know both camps, couldn't care less,i see both views. To one set they are "fair game" a natural harvest and a test for your dog,to the other a cause of someone coming on your land when you'd rather they didn't. The terrible thing though, due to this pisspoticle Government, is running them is a bit naughty.
  15. What the f*ck has Barbie ever done to you
  16. Here's a few i came across on Tuesday mate.Supposed to have been beating but got a bit distracted
  17. Not yet i haven't, i wont say i wont be beaten by a computer cos i think i will be, but i'm still trying Actually i suppose i could have a go after a can of inspiration

  20. Out beating today, having a laugh and exercising my terriers enjoying life in general when the keeper lost his black bitch in a wood, thought to be to ground. We finished the drive whilst one of the lads waited on top of a fairly large place, well over a dozen holes. After 20 minutes and no show i was asked if i would mind trying to find the bitch with my dogs while they carried on Oh go on then i said, i'll take one for the team  and shot back to the yard for my truck and clobber. Got to the earth, netted up, collared my little black bitch, checked my steam powered mk1 deben gear w
