    Out of these shovels i only take 2 out with me,though the others have been usefull. The 2 on the right, the smaller one in my net bag on my back and the other in my hand with the couples on it, dogs dragging along. Both acquired for the princely sum of under a tenner. :thumbs-up:

    The black and tan bitch in my photo IS the same bitch in Pignuts photo,the photo i believe is similar to one in Sean Frains book the working terrier. My old mate from South Yorkshire got the bitch from Wendy when she was at the Pennine hunt,the black fell type in my photo also came from Wendy and is owned by another mate of mine,also from South Yorkshire. The black and tan bitch,BESS,went back to Wendy shortly after one of the Yorkshire shows a few years ago.The chap who has the other black fell bitch was none to pleased as he thought he would be taking her in.     Fox bolted from a pipe a good few years ago by Bess That black and tan bitch used to belong a friend of mine,very good bitch.Went back to Wendy due to ill health.Never carried her tail high and when entered into a show,which she hated was in the lakie class.

    Take your time and see what your mates have,they will be able to put you onto what they think you should get and that way if they are your long term digging buddies you will all have the same thing in common. If not,just go with what suits your eye,we all like different things in a terrier and only you can be judge of that.
