Just a couple of pictures of yesterdays outing.Black bitch found a rabbitty hole and demanded to go in.At first i thought the worst but she was determined so i let her off and seconds later she could be heard working her fox. Couple of minutes passed and i noticed leaves covering a bolt hole lifting now and then, the bitch getting more furious with her quarry. Anyway, out he popped to be rolled over by a waiting gun and that was that, she carried on whining and i thought a second was in at first but she was just frustrated to be at her foe.After she squeezed out she had a good ra

Wilf, the La Bo**cks wellies i have are the cheaper ones, i dont think i will ever pay for the sort you wear,just my choice and not criticising you. The Aigle's i have had, have been by far harder wearing,more comfortable,the rubber seems stronger and they haven't made my feet sweat as much as the crap i have at the moment. These are real soft rubber,floppy to put your feet in,have worn quite badly in the couple of month's i've had them, ripped by barbed wire ( upper, not sole) and basically, i dont like putting the ferkers on. Jasper, take it from me mate, DO NOT get Le CHAMEAU wellies, Aigle are the ones my friend and nothing but Recomended to me a good 9 years ago, i have always had them..............until a moment of weakness when i got a pair La Bollocks wellies mid season...........................RUBBISH absolute ferkin garbage............................................ I reckon any one would be a fool to try, unless they had all day and didn't give a ferk about where they were hunting. English Bull i had years back would try to get to ground but what a carry on and them things think they know best. The smaller stuff has been added to a slack handfull of breeds to increase bone and power but there are better breeds for earth work and they stand out from the crowd

Thats a good honest post for a young lad and reminds me of when i was that age so i see your point,now days being a gamekeeper i always keep my terriers on couples and use them only for digging and as hafod already said with pheasants around, i dont wont them off the leads anyway Ex-ferkin-cactly, these kids are the future, my own lad has me yawning some days when he goes on about what dog he is going to have when he thankfully ferks off and leaves home. Leave it while next season mate. Just out of interest, how many dogs do you take out at a time ? The dog is obviously game enough but for some reason the search part hasn't clicked yet. Is it a biggish dog that might not want to push on ?. God knows, if you've the patience why not wait till later on, after all, you've already put a lot of time and effort in already mate and to right it off could be a little harsh. I'm sure you'll come to the right decision matey.

Horses for coarses. All them old terriermen will say the same, there is no one size fits all when it comes to animals, some " specialise " in different disciplines of terrier work but there are very few terriers that can do all the jobs asked of it. Size, strength, nose, heart all come into the final mix. Knowing what you could readily expect from your terrier is more important. Just my opinion folks.

There is a bye law, where as any ferkin cat comes near me i am, by law, allowed to kick the living daylights out of the ferkin thing due to the fact i hate the b'stards.
