  2. Super shots 2nd from last is a great portrait, would look good in B&W too Excellent processing on the fishing boat shot too. Do you have any more pics of the collie pup? He is soooo cute.
  3. Who would look after the dogs? Presumably they would stay on the business premises all the time, and would have to be chained or kennelled, so someone would have to exercise, feed etc. Or would you hire out dog & handler? Would be an idea to read, learn, and inwardly digest the Animals Act 1971, and the Guard Dogs Act 1975.
  4. Good shots, you don't realise just how much ground they cover in one bound until you see the photos.
  5. Good songs there, thanks for sharing Hope you have a better day tomorrow...
  6. Blimey, I won't bother to take my wellies off then...
  7. Nice I love their version of Handbags & Gladrags too.
  8. Used to have an arable and livestock farm running a 40 cow dairy herd and followers. I miss my moos Now down to 50 acres of grass, cutting it for hay and haylage & grazing with the neighbours suckler herd in summer, and of course the bloody horses churning up the land and turning it into a ploughed field all winter...
  9. I like the second shot too, quite effective what you've done with it.
  10. They look splendid, very nice job. But... aren't the kennels a bit on the small side? I mean kids grow so fast...
  11. They are so cute They love the suet based bird cake too.
  12. That last shot is a cracker I'd crop about a 1/4 off the right side, and a little off the bottom to make the pup larger in the frame and not quite so central. But it's a lovely shot and the camera has coped very well with tricky lighting. Love those ears too!
  13. Another vote for Opinel, had mine for nearly 30 years and it still sharpens up nicely.
  14. Unless your real name is Stephen King and this took place in the Pet Sematary, animals don't generally "come back to life". Call me an old softie, but wouldn't it have been better for all concerned if the coyote had been actually, properly dead before you started skinning it? There's a saying about once could be an accident, but twice looks like carelessness. Hmmm. I agree, skinning an animal that isnt dead You deserve to be bitten, bloody disgusting Too right The coyote didn't "come back to life" it was never bloody dead! Pity it didn't pull a load of your skin of
  15. I have a brand new Pentax K-x with 18-55 lens for about 50 quid less than high street shop price. The camera has good reviews, and also does video, but as I haven't used it I can't say much more about it... It would be a good combo for landscape, but for wildlife you'd need a longer lens.
  16. What sort of camera do you have now? Are you looking for a brand new camera or secondhand? A point & shoot compact, a Digital SLR, or something in between? There are so many different cameras out there now, so we need a little more info! Also what type of photography are you most interested in If you're looking for a new DSLR I may just have what you're looking for
  17. voted and commented. Can't believe there are so many fluffy squirrel cuddlers out there...
  18. Glad she's okay I'd get a dog (or any other animal) with an eye injury to the vet sooner rather than later though, specially if there's any sign of infection or the pupil is constricted and the dog is in pain. My bitch just lightly bumped her eye, with no scratches or thorns etc, and that was enough for the pressure to build up inside the eyeball and the pupil to shrink. Luckily atropine drops and some antibiotics sorted it.
  19. Does she pee in other parts of the house? Presuming you make sure she goes out for a wee before you put her in the crate, could it be a stress thing? Does she get a bit worried about going in the crate and being left alone? If she does, maybe you could try putting her in for short periods when you're around, and staying with her. Few dogs will soil their beds, so maybe you could make the crate smaller so there is only just room for her bed? It's important to clean all the areas she's soiled thoroughly to remove all the smell. Use a solution of biological washing powder in warm wa
