    My 1st dog was a patterdale dog. He worked well and did everthing ever asked of him, always found and never walked away from his game. Killed at 12 years old whilst working by a fooking lurcher dog who picked him up and ran off shaking him.

    I thought it was early. I was suprised to see any as its in the middle of an ancient oak and beech woodland, in a hole created by a large tree blowing over.

    Went out with the pups today into a local woodland where a tree has gone over and a pool has developed, in it was loads of frogspawn. Anyone found any spawn yet this year?

    I carnt see what the problem was regarding the topic being in the working terrier section (afterall it is a book about working terriers). Seems quite childish moving it to the for sale section.

    I have a couple of months worth of work. the phone isnt ringing as much now though, so crapping myself as to whats going to happen with my business. If work runs out I have an offer on the table which will see me through at least 6 months, but its working all over the UK. Most lads I know in the trade are in a similar position as myself or have no work at all.
