    you have the terrier that do,s the job you want it to do. I have no working terriers. I have pups that have the potential to become workers in another couple of seasons or three. I have only just returned to the sport after a long lay off from them. I have owned and worked quite a few dogs that could be classed as workers, and I've also owned a few that havent made the grade that I didnt class as workers. Do you have any workers, because from the posts I've read from you I would say you have'nt got a clue.

    You can understand why so much crap is bred, when people are breeding off dogs that they class as workers, that should be called sporting terriers. Ratting/rabbiting terriers are sporting terriers "workers" are dogs that are dug too, that find in any type and size of earth, stay with the game and dont jibb.

    L&L as your arse is soooo BIG, will it be used to show us when theres a full moon?? lol. I think the lass has the biggest balls on here for deciding to get this calendar off the ground, good luck L&L, I believe it will be done, and carnt wait to have it hanging up on the wall at work.

    You got to do what you got to do. Cubbing isnt pleasant but if it keeps the farmer/keeper happy then your permission is safe for another year.

    The terrier sections reading more and more like the lurcher section everyday. Theres a difference between argueing and having a debate. For me the Pre 73 topic was a fantastic topic which was most enjoyable.

    What would people consider a stevens line? To me if it aint bred in the mans yards or directly out of dogs from his yard then it aint his line anymore.

    Rip the fields up, smash the woodlands down, build houses, flats, bugalows, build for local people, build council houses. We need alot more housing in this country so why not (at the expense of a few woodlands and fields)? Because a few people are worried because there going to loose their views, or because their villiage wont look so pretty. I would love to see large modern housing estates built, enviroment friendly houses for councils.

    My eldest daughter (10yrs) goes beating, she comes out with the terriers ratting and next season she will come on her 1st dig, she rides a horse and wants to join the local hunt. She loves being out among the thick of it all. I have 2 other daughters who have no interest in the dogs or the countryside what so ever. I think you can only encourage them if they have an interest in the first place.

    Are you suggesting pulling the remaining tail feathers? Only time you should be pulling feathers is when the light system is used, then there is a correct way to do it. Pigeons moult there feathers which can be manipulated by delaying the laying of the second nest of eggs, you can work out which races your pigeons will hit form by manipulating the moult, but as I've said theres forums to discuss things like that and this isnt one of them.

    Why dont you ask pigeon related questions on a pigeon forum? Theres plenty good lads on here http://pigeon-chat.com/ They will tell you all you want to know and more. There are some top fanciers on there.

    Some pics. Offers are invited swap for a car. Drivers seat is torn (look at pic) and it needs a wash.

    Mate's selling his Pergeot partner van (O2 plate). Its in decent nick but the locks are in need of attention (drivers lock doesnt lock), good little runner and paint works in decent condition, got new exahust, and alternater, mot till 03-2010, tax till 08-09. Reason for sale is he needs a car rather than a van due to a change in circumstances. I will put pics on tomorrow when I get the chance to take a couple. Will consider a swap for a car of similar value or make an offer. Van is in North East pm for his number. No tyre kickers, freaks or geeks.
