  1. Thanks, you still chief editor? lol, it means you get preview of the piccies! haha, got to swear yourself to secrecy though! the charities not 100% decided yet, we've got the tick research charity so far but could do with a couple more. x Well I think your doing a wonderful job . I look forward to seeing a preview and cant wait to purchase my very own "Hunting girls" calendar.
  2. Well done Labsnlurchers, your doing a fantastic job of organising this. Which is the lucky charity thats going to be recieving the money?
  3. It doesnt make a bit of differance to the dog if it has a tail or not. The reason for tail docking is dogs with full tails tend to damage the tail tip whilst working, which can lead to further problems (poisoning of the blood ect). Dogs with docked tails do not get this kind of damage.
  4. Looks fantastic. Dont worry about getting mine to me quick, I'm not allowed it until christmas, kids have warned me!
  5. What do you think then lurchers and terriers? If it was all lurchers I would'nt be interested in buying it. You obviously haven't understood what I meant, think hard Butch I fully understand what your saying (if too many area's within hunting are covered then people loose interest in buying because maybee only 1 month is covered by their sport) What I was doing with my previous post to you was posing you the question "what would you cover lurcher and terriers, shooting, ferrets ? Sorry I get you now LOL
  6. What do you think then lurchers and terriers? If it was all lurchers I would'nt be interested in buying it.
  7. yeah it would be better to cover more areas of hunting than just lurchers. any ideas for themed photos.....like how could you do a piccie of deer stalking? would you need a deer? does anyone have a deer? I'll get my rudolph suit out then pmsl
  8. So whats the hunting theme, girls with their dogs or are you going to cover different types of hunting ie deer stalking, guns, gamekeeping, lurchers, terriers ect ect. That way you will sell more copies as it would interest most hunters.
  9. yeah, shall i mail some printer people? try and get it for free? or should we sort the piccies out first? Personally I would enquire with the printers first as without them its not worth taking the pictures.
  10. Hows about no wear that sounds perfect to me pmsl
  11. I think if it can be done the calander would sell out quickly. If your looking at one for 2009 it will need to be put into print soon.
  12. Calander, Great idea, wish I'd thought of that
  13. Is there going to be a "Hunting girls" calendar out next year then lol!
  14. Got loads, cut 2 fingers off in a machine, crushed into a crash barrier (knocked out so didnt feel a thing) which smashed my face up pretty bad, had my arm snapped in a fight, stabbed through my ribs, shot in my arm, ribs smashed with a scaffold tube. I've more lives than a cat.
  15. Good luck with the book sales. I hope the reviews go well
  16. Being a cabinet maker making one off pieces of furniture I can really appreciate the quality of the carvings, that warrior woman table must have taken alot of man hours to do.
  17. I always named mine with short names like Flint, Jake, trip ect
  18. If I'm seeing right, which I think I'am, the wound looks alot worse than it actually is, ie its only a skin wound and has'nt penetrated the flesh, should heal pretty quick and without any lasting damage. I know this wont come as any consolation, but it could have been alot worse. Still the dog will be very sore.
  19. Those fields used to be full 16yrs back. Unbelievable how things change
  20. The fields between seaton sluice and blyth used to be canny fields for long ears. Also up the beehive road fields behind the beehive pub canny good for long ears.
  21. Cracking photos. Nice to see the old dogs enjoying there work.
