I never used to let my earth dogs anywhere near rabbits. Nothing worse than a dog giving a mark on an earth to find rabbits at home. My dogs were only ever allowed rats, charlie. When I used to get a mark I was 100% confident of getting something that bit back

Going back a good few years well over 18yrs ago had 2 lurcher bitches who took roe on a regular basis cop on a red, nowt special size wise just average, these 2 bitches would take on anything but not this red. Let a huge pitbull go he rattled through the woods after it and nailed it no problem.

Yeah all to same loft with a loft manager, Richie Elliot does the SWOL race and Derek Nicholls does the Europa plus the RPRA with Jeramy as manager theres loads of them around

raced em when i was younger delbars and dordins - lost touch hows this one loft race work ?? You send your young bird to a one loft race along with loads of other people costs anything from £100+ to enter usually there is a back up bird incase yours gets lost. Prize money is shit hot you can win 1st prize of £20k

See I would have said 7 months was way too young, but thats my opinion. I would rather put the early months of a lurchers life into obedience training making sure the pup was 100% sound at fetching, coming back, standing, jumping ect ect ect. Seen it loads of times disobedient dogs running a mock in the fields and their owners getting very angry, but to me the owner is to blame. Also seen them bark when turning caused by frustration by being brought on too young. Not saying whats right or wrong just trying to get as many honest opinions from people, whilst having a good debate.
