  1. Seen it all now! what the f**k is happening to GB when we won't except kids born and bred by British families into a British Playgroup ... Click link
  2. Heard this before Moll! a lad who me and M knows had this in a field near him, he also had one come that low over his aviaries he could count the bolts on the side. it freaked one of his breeding pair of Goshawks out which he found dead in the aviary the next day ..... Jasp
  3. Good question Stevo . wouldn't mind getting some for my silencer which is scratched to bits... Looks nice Millsy
  4. Personaly I think anoyone considering writing a Airgun book these days is pissing in the wind! ok you'll sell a few but there'll be alot left sitting on the shelves and propping the bed up. there's plenty of info on the Net,DVD's and Forums so why buy a book? most of it isn't rocket science anyway! just use some grey matter between the ears . getting out with somone who been about a bit will also help to teach a thing or too if anyone feels the need........
  5. No doubt about it some top lads on the forum! been on a few forums in the past and one Airgun forum since 2001 but the lads on here take some beating Jasper
  6. What was the verdict? its not far for me and quite fancied in time taking a look. I have heard its got some good size pike in there ....
  7. Must say for entertainment value you can't beat some of the topics and posts on the forum . many time I sit hear pissing myself at the computer and turn round to see the rest of the family thinking I'm finally ready for a short stay at funny farm... Jasp
  8. a few pictures of some of the pups and "Reggie" who came off the same litter and Muttleys Grandfather, also one of the pair together showing our bitch which is a spitter of yours. none of these pictures are probably relevent to your post but when you asked about lines I have to say the bitch in the pictures looks a near on match with our bitch here..
  9. she looks just like our bitch which came in from Liverpool 9 years ago! she was brought in as Nuttall/Gould lines. My dog "Muttley" came in from Ireland, we put him over the bitch on two occasions with the pups mainly going to working homes! I would like to think they ended up that way for what they was bred to be. Here's the Dog "Muttley" and his hand written pedegree passed on to me when he came in from a lad in Ireland, also a pictures of him with the bitch. I'll get some pictures up of some of the pups as I find them in a bit
  10. Good shooting that man . I see no prisoners taken Si again! looks like you have opend up some fine Hunting ground there... atb Jasp
  11. Good shooting mate . nice to see a grey squirrel meet its maker.. Is that a falcon Raptor skeleton you're useing there? I had a .177 Raptor a good few years ago and must say got pretty lethal with it but only used to get around 65 shots to a fill which was a killer when all I had was a styrup pump back then! after pumping that thing up it nearly put me in traction several times . Jasp
  12. whats that supposed to mean mate you're not making sense with that reply! to be honest you're not making sense with any of your replies, got to say pal you're doing great guns making pals on the forum ....
  13. Just seen this . ok you got me I didn't want to say anything! actually my favourite is Big Boy Magazine ... Jasp
  14. looks like this poor old girls been shopping and took the wrong turning
  15. I think you're right mate Must admit Runforyoyourlife I came out of it quite lightly when you see the path! its full of rocks and flint stone sticking up all over the place. thankfully when I landed I went down on a bit that didn't seem so bad. got to say never had pain like it! lifted myself up on all fours but couldn't breath properly and just felt this crushing pain across the chest and ribs. I can't run very fast at my age but that snare certainly threw me down pretty hard. for a few weeks across my sternum and chest was more bruised and painfull than my ribs! couldn't even touch
  16. do you still get any jip with them stoaty? whats also pissing me off is if I have a food blow out like a big sunday roast, it knackers me up for the rest of the day! seems to add more pressure behind the left ribs . Jasper
  17. wonder if he has got muddled up with Rooks and crows Simon . Its well acheivable around a rookery or around May/june time when the youngsters are out feeding and being a bit silly.... atb Jasp
  18. Cheers for the top info lads its much apreciated . Probably has to be the most painful injury I have had.. Fell of my motorbike when I was 17 and did my kneecap but it has nothing compared to this pain wise. what makes me laugh is they don't strap them or do anything these days just tell you to take the painkillers and give you a little booklet to read on Rib Injuries, didn't even really want to Xray them either . sounds like its going to be a long time to heal
  19. Got to say mate when I first done it I was crippled! couldn't laydown for weeks and had to sleep sitting up, still struggling now and definitly can't lay on my lefthand side! lifted a sack of coal the other day and I'm sure its damaged them again too. cheers for the info
  20. Broke some Ribs and bruised my upper chest on 24th Novemeber running back through the woods and putting my foot in a keepers fox snare! one minute I was running and the next second I was flat on my stomache. Ok I can see the funny side of it now but boy did it wind me and hurt like hell, as soon as I went over I couldn't get my breath before finally managing to limp in the house with one of my Muckboots still stuck in the snare . I couldn't get a word out to the wife who thought at the time I was having a heart attack before she finally went back into the woods to retreive my boot still in
  21. Yes mate ! both been there and done that and felt the full force of some of the shit thrown by deluded desperados seeking attention, perhaps we should take up waving our knickers in the air mate to attract the same disciples . Ok I know I have a bit of a gripe with social networking sites but its mainly because the kids are on there. most of the time I have no idea what they are getting up to! all I do know is they would be on there 24/7 if I allowed it which to me is such a tragic waste of life for kids growing up in this world. mind you a lad off the forum contacted me a weeks back a
  22. Can't say there is any info suggesting Jackthepatterdale has been on the forum before lads . he has no other account on this site. Is there a chance you have picked on the wrong guy here? could be alot of Humble pie being eaten if it is . Jasp
  23. thats a good fair point Dean The difference is this site is a full on in your face Hunting site which specialises in basically all the field sports we practice, obviously this is somthing we all have in common or we wouldn't be on here otherwise... mind you I think there is the odd few who never hunt. most of these social network sites are beyond our control and full of Nonces paedo's just to say a few! Kids go on there and can end up being stalked by weirdo's pretending to be teenagers trying to arrange a meet up with them . on a specialist Hunting forum like this you would think it
  24. seriously!! don't you think all this cyber sites like facebook are screwing our kids heads up ? my kids get in from school raid the kitchen and get straight on the Pc's to either Facebook or MSN Messenger. in the past I have moaned like f**k about it but it turns out all the other kids do the same and meet up on these social networks . Ok I know I'm reminising but all I wanted to do when I was kid was get home and get out again for as long as possible, either out with mates with the Air Rifles or out round the local teenage Mattress . kids are missing out on alot these days in this cyb
  25. Just shifted two that have been sitting in the aviary with their parents for 8 months! plenty about these days.... Jasper
