well there you go then Alex. you're now telling me you can take the banter! perhaps its time to prove it and show some support for other people opinions in the Hunting fraternity if not I have to ask why are you on here? and if the thread offends you that much why read it? yis Jasp -

touched a nerve Pal . took the bait hook line and sinker didn't you . Must admit it would be hard to kill cars and a aeroplane! must say though I have never had one sit on top of my aviary roof yet either! can't say I have had a neighbour do it either . think what your saying PAL! you're looking a bit silly now... yis Jasp -

the guy was jesting alex! thats the point of the smiley face . thats fair point how you would deal with it but this was the the reply I gave to one of your posts which I thought you would have answered . Jasp Total Rubbish a cat doesn't neccessarily have to attack your bird to kill it. a cat on the top of a aviary can kill your bird through stress or the bird dieing from injuries crashing about in the aviary. do your homework in the future pal . You really need to get out more pal and do some homework. read through it again and take the big moral hat off for 5 mins and show me a post where someone has has broken the law? there is a difference between Banter and going out and doing it for real!! most of the posts are nothing more than tongue in cheek man. you also didn't answer my question or replied to my previouse post . Stop trying to make a name for yourself by being rightiouse old mate. this is a Hunting forum! its the wrong forum for that. no one on here has mentioned they have killed or harmed anyone's pet! as for feral cats its a different story and need controling. now tell me as a Falconer quite how you would deal with the circumstances should any of your birds be taken off the bow by a cat and you was fortunate enough to catch the cat in the act? advice is one thing! going out and doing it is another.... would be nice if there was some sort of comeback for the youngsters to follow again. most have their arses super glued infront of Facebook or any other social networking site. Lovely looking scooter by the way Embod! very nice pal . Have to say it was the old Vespa's I had a soft spot for! I loved my old PX150. I remember when I was a lad they used to have some local disco's on a friday night 4 - 5 times a year from 8pm until 1am! a few of us would turn up and park the scooters right outside the doors where the main light was, through the night I would pop out now and again to check th

I had a few problems with them a couple of houses back JD! not so much setting about the birds but walking along the aviaries and sitting on the fence. back then I had a breeding pair of Redtails with a beam running across the roof mesh. one day the wife was watching from behind the net cutain in the bedroom and saw a Ginger and white tabby jump up onto the corner of the aviary and walk across the beam to the other side, it got about halfway across and the Redtail female punched her foot through the chainlink and grabbed the cat from underneath, the missus reckons it had hold of it for a while -
I agree Jack Its near on Impossible for a handfull of moderators to police a forum 24/7 which now has over 30,000 members on and riseing. trust me it is a full time job with countless PM's sorting out disputes aswel as editing posts, croping posts and the like! plus after tax we're only getting £75,000 a year . got to say the text talk crap does my nob in but sadly this is part of everyday life these days , there's not many topics these days that don't have some text talk in one way or another! if we deleted it all most threads would be savaged, although we still try and tidy them up

Can't fault them Bullet! had this pair since 2007 now and the lad also uses them for going beating. must admit they're looking a bit worse for wear but best wellies I have had and warm in the winter, even the missus now has a pair after ditching her Hunter wellies . Jasp

totaly agree! didn't have or need forums and computers when I started. it was a case of getting up the Libary reading some books! putting them down and reading them again and again until I could quote chapters off by heart. having said that reading too many books can be confusing as one can condradict another, it was always good to write down the info that would benefit me most. simple things we take for granted like learning a Falconers knott and how to hold the bird on the glove may be basic but things that should be learned for the sake of the bird. Its alot easier these days JP wit

The lad Ryan a Rugby player from the wales area picked the bird up of me in 06 from my largest finnish female! he took it for Imprinting and flying and had it taking Corvids at bang on 2LB in weight. I spoke to a spanish fella who had just been to Deans a couple of years back and he mentioned Dean still had the male I bred and it was a wopper as a good genuine finnish male should be.

cheers for the info guys . I'm based near Norwich and thinking of getting my lad out with me fishing. The Wensum is only a few miles away and the Tud virtualy on my doorstep. Its been a few years now since I used to go fishing round Norfolk on the relief Channel and Middle level and a few pits near by. just seen some lakes in Norwich which looked good but was a bit shocked at some of the rule you have to abide by these days , Barbless Hooks only and Unhooking Mats must be used at all times, No home cooked Baits, no night fishing just for a few . things have changed a bit. found this l

The River Wensum and River Tud and virtualy on my doorstep. anyone had any results fishing either of these rivers? the Tud is a small river which passes near by me which is handy. also read that both Rivers are free to fish! does this mean no ticket and rod Licence? and is there a closed season? Not sure if its the father to your male but Dean Britton had one of my males Bred from here passed onto him which he's useing as a Donor. a lad in wales called Ryan had it off me and then passed it onto Dean... It was a good male off some good genuine large blood lines! this is the male here taken at Deans .

sounds like you had some good sport there Sam on his last day Never caught a Wigeon myself but a couple of lads in the area have taken them and teal off one of the ponds on farm we used to fly on before we lost it to a syndicate. just a few pictures of Mallard taken which I had sent me from mates who had birds includeing a Harris which was nailing a good few. also a decent male Gos which took a Woodcock through some tight woodland in fine style ...
