  1. Its in pretty good nick Matty in its case with a spare spool, the only downside is its got a little bit of what looks like corrosion peeling the paint off where the reel clamps onto the rod. its a bice smooth reel but not much good to me as the spools seem pretty shallow for fine line! I'm looking now to get a decent reel I can pile on plenty of 12lb line atb Jasp those Mitchell Match wonder touch reels were the bee's knees once . I still reckon the workaday 300 series was the unsong hero of their day though . Check-out the Intrepid "Surfcast"at the back. It holds a lot of line

  4. Looked out the window today and saw this Deer walk round from behind the oil tank and stroll into the garden without a thought in the world. also keep getting Roe in the back garden Mullering the young trees. Not very clear Pictures as they was taken through the glass. Jasp

  9. when buying from KKK it worked out includeing delivery £8.50 per 250 for a bulk purchase of 8000. It now costs me £120 for the same amount fresh! the only problem is cooling them and putting them into trays to freeze. not too much of a problem when you consider the saving ....

    moult

Yep put them down to moult late Feb March time, give them a decent diet and allow them them to gain some fat reserves free from any stressful situation. you can moult them out on the bow or block! personaly I would rather expecially the more highly strung birds! give them a good clean moult in a enclosed aviary and left to their own devices until I pick them up later in the year....
  15. Wasps and Bees scare the shit out of me.
  16. 4LB 16oz's would make it 5LB . Definitley can see the spar in it! expecially when you think that Bow perch is only about 5 Inches big . Its surprising what you can do with a Macro shot to make them Canary Hybrids look big ...
  17. looks like your friend got a bargain LR nice looking bows! His sparrowhawk looks nice too ... Jasp
  18. Its typical mate! just my luck . Mainly for the hawks and ideal to help keep one of the birds in flying condition. its low nutritonal value means they can eat alot keeping them in condition and not pile on too much weight like with a higher quality diet.. atb Jasper

  23. spot on. what makes me laugh is every other country in Europe is taking the piss out of us while we welcome anyone over hear with open arms. Read another story the other week saying their was a baby boom in this country and the Midwifery was having major problems coping with! the best bit about it the so called BOOM comes from the immigrants living or staying over here having babies all over the place and we can't cope. also read a few months ago which I beleive to be true and will happen an article saying that there is a very strong posibilty of civil war in the country wthin 20 y
