I didn't know he was your mate and you vouched for him! I don't want to see a pal done over like so many do when picking up secondhand birds. I tend to think when people sell secondhand birds its normally yep they have a good gennuine reason OR the birds been f****d up or something!! but if you know the guy and you reckon he is legit then its a different matter.... You're right mate there must be a massive difference between something like a Spar that burns calories while you look at them compared to a bird like a Redtail or Eagle.... don't you just love these accipters SPAR ....

Nope!! I guide Nobber into the holes and keep him moving until I'm satisfied the hole's empty...
He seems to work very well after a bit of rain and the hole is nice and damp or wet through lol....

At the end of the day mate even if he has f****d it up you may well be able to make it good or if not bang it in for breeding. He's probably a nice guy like you said but all the garbage about his birds have "seriouse attitude" or something like that as you know is nothing more than sales pitch .... Nice looking bird mate! I don't know if its the pictures but she don't look massive compared to some I have seen feet wise or in body size but I could be wrong? then again I don't think you really want a big female Harris apart from breeding! the smaller females are far more agile and get off the deck quicker. she could only be 3lb cause he has taken her up and recently fed her up as they pile on weight this way, this Gos went up to over 3lb when first fed up but certainly not its true weight... You have to watch alot of them in this game mate cause they're out and out bullshitters! weathe

Its good to see you on the forum Paul . Sad news about the Gos mate but as you know I have been their with that crap desease in the past! its f****d my season up big time. Asper is a nightmare with Goshawks! by all accounts they can be infected for a good 6 weeks before they finally show the symptoms and unfortunately their demise... You need to get some picture's up on the Airgun Forum of some of them stocks you make!! they're quality with a capital Q... ATB Tony

Good riddance to "2007" I've had nothing but a whole lot of shit last year, lost my Brother a few months back way before his time too. from my point of view its two fingers to 2007!! hopefully 2008 will shine for me and the rest of us on the forum .... ATB Jasper

I have used this type of Telemetry since the beggining of the 90's and its never missed a beat! boy thats tempting fate . I use a couple 3v XLF-3 Transmitter with it which also touch wood have never let me down, this telemetry has been chucked on the floor, slid off car roofs when I drove off and forgot about it and basically been pretty knocked about over the years but always came good, I can honestly say its been used every season since I owned it, the only thing I have added to it is a Pre-Amp filter which does what it says on the Box! it amplifies the signal and also filters out alot

The good thing about a site like this is you're comunicateing with like minded people! we all have Hunting in common and it makes it Interesting and yep adictive, you can go the pub with mates or have friends or family round for General day to day talk, but when you get on a site like this we all speak the same Language ....
