Very Good Deker. I have a 9 years old Daughter and and already getting wound up thinking about her bringing Boyfriends home when she gets older! we all know what we was like as lads which makes it even harder to take on board..... I'm still jumping when my missus showed me a text message on my 11 years old lads phone saying "We have been together now for a while and don't you think we could now take things further! I mean a bit more than just kissing". call my old fashioned or whatever but I did find it a bit much as in my eyes he is still my little boy .... Jasper

I remember watching Jack Hargreaves on telly when I was a kid and loved the stuff he did, I'm buggered if I can remember what it was called now Jasper

Nicely done Spar , adding a nice Yellow Bill to the book is always a bonus. out of the 4 females I think you're the only person who got out and flew one, I heard from one guy who couldn't get his going and the other slapped his in for breeding. Timmy has now made up a couple of pairs down his now and I'm shifting a Gos down there earley in the week ... ATB Jasper

Cracking Motor! I had one of these on a L plate and it would pull through anything, they also come with all the mod cons and gadgets and adjustable suspension compared to the shogun, the other thing is the 2.8 is chain driven and not belt driven like the 2.5... I hope you sell it mate! it looks a cracker ....
-
Yep thats a cracking method spar ! another method is by Crop Tube straight into the bird Bigbulls. just get a syringe and a peice of fish tank pump tube or simular about 3 - 4 inches long, you can then draw it up and straight into the birds crop, Mind you .3 Mil is a small amount and would probebly be best given the way spar suggested. This is a tube I use but its on the large side compared to one needed for most things

Sorry for putting this on here but I'm struggling trying to find any of this stuff anywhere! it can be stainless or galvinised or anything else that won't rust. Its to go in the bottom of a Hatcher and need to be at least 400mm x 500mm. if anyone know of anywhere I can get hold of some or has any please PM me ..... Before this gets binned this is not a Buy/Sell advert its asking for information. if any Mods decide it should go in that forum then no probs ATB Jasper

There was quite alot of simularities with the Hill Billy's from the "Texas Chainsaw Massacre", the guy with the axe who went down the Beast of Bodmins lair spraying bleach needs certifieing ....
-
f**k me! the Hillbilly's are all on something! the Panther Hunter was away with the fairy's big time, just imagine bumping into that nut job earley hours of the morning on Bodmin Moor when he's got his axe, he'd probably hack you up and say the Panther killed you ... some of them messages on the Badger Eaters answer phone had me PMSL .....

Lanber Sporter/Field , I'm not 100% sure but I think they're imported in by Gunmark the same people who bring in the Beretta's. If you can get a secondhand Beretta go for it! you won't regret it .... Jasper

Very Very Good !! I want one for a bit of roost shooting Jasper

The good news Millet is Timmy will have alot more time on his hands next season so it will be good to see the bird fly when he's fit again. its a bit sad cause the guy who had that one Andy had for sale has bunged it straight into a Breeding project! this guy has a bit of a reputation of having more males than I care to remember killed by females in breeding chambers , I hope it don't happen to this male as he was a nice gennuine P/R Gos. This year mate when some other lads off the forum picks their Gos's up too! we're all going to have a ball ... Jasper

I really struggled getting them on last night mate! first of all he decided to Blue tooth them to my lads phone and install a samsung pc studio disc and It didn't work, the next thing we did was take the Micro SD card out of his phone and fit it in a adaptor to fire the images onto my pictures , I won't do all that hassle for a couple of pictures again ... Its a nice Gos though mate and he has certainly learned how to second guess his quarry now he's in his third year. he can sometimes be a little naughty killing out of tree's but some of the flights I and others have witnessed are outstan

I have been waiting for a mate to bring these pic's round since before xmas and finally got them tonight, its a pic of his P/R Finn male which litteraly was only flown for about a week last year and had to be grounded due to work commitments, he did well in the week he was flown and took a couple of Pheasants and nailed this Woodcock and Duck in his last couple of days. I witnessed the the woodcock being taken! it was a good quick clippy flight and clever how he second guessed it as it rode through the woods left and right! he was deadly with his footing when he snatched it. this bird in h

Happy Birthday Spragger ! I thought you had retired mate and was useing Saga insurance for the over 50's .... Have A Good One Jasper

No need to bring it up again mate? as far as I was concerned its finished and buried. WAG has not questioned the way you fly your birds but basically just asked to calm down a bit like some other members pointed out too, I think you'll find mate the quips like "Dick Head" put at the end of posts wasn't needed in the topic.... You've also forget it was you and a few others questioning the Guy Bobs methods, the idea of some posts is to question methods, offer advice to the best of your knowledge and if anyone questions it then so be it, it shouldn't be a problem mate..... I hope some other lads can add there thoughts on this subject. Probably the main benefit of flying a Imprint over a P/R bird Daz is 99% of the Manning is done in the rearing! Social Imprinting is just that. you socialize with the bird constantly but have no food association with it, the idea of this is when the bird is flying it doesn't show the Bad habbits associated with Full blown food Imprints or Mal imprints, Obviousley weight control and plenty of kills is the order of the day. The problem with all Imprints though Daz is they are basicly totaly f****d in the head ! I'm not convin

Good job you warned me HJ ! I'm clueless and would have gone ferreting with the collars threaded this way . Richie off the forum sent me a collar so I copied it useing some of the Kip leather I have here for the birds and tried to cut them the width of the Transmitter slots, the brass studs are only the hammer type and the Buckles you can get from a leather supplier for about a £1.50 per ten. I made a bit of a arse of the one in the picture as I think its going to be a little short with the Transmitter threaded.... Jasper
