I would need to get on a step ladder to kick your arse mate, you're about 4ft taller then me . I reckon the sort of Hawking you'll be doing mate with all the game bird in the area you won't go far wrong with a decent size male Gos! its Goshawk heaven where you hunt! plenty of Ducks, plenty of Pheasants and Partridge!! you'll have some cracking sport ... Nice one Spar I tried them a good few years back but they was more pricey than Honeybrook! at the moment I'm paying £5.10 per box of 200, this is with discount if I order 5000 or more which I need to do everytime anyway.... Jasper

Just a quick warning to anyone who use the above as a supplier of food. I have just found out that all their prices will be going up after xmas! the chicks will be going up £1.00 per box of 200 . I normally order 25 of these every 5 weeks , there's a extra £25 I now need to find.... I have just put in a order for 8000 before all the prices go up..... ATB Jasper

I know what you're saying trappa and I have had the same in the past! but when Craig had the dies made up for the different size eyelets he gave me a pair before putting them on the market and they wern't quite the finnished product. I tried them on different thickness leathers but they wasn't quite closeing completley with the Eyelet washer still spinning on the anlklet! all they needed is a bit more taking off the die that does the crimping to allow them to close tighter, anyway with trial and error they now meet up perfect and crimp the eyelets like a twist closeing tool, I have used t

These are a nice pair of pliers JRB! I have had a pair off Craig for a few years now and used them to fit a good few pairs of Anklets on birds, I expected them to slowly squeeze together when you apply the presure on the handles but nope they're pretty sturdy and made in Germany. Reading through the posts certainly gives me a appertite . so far I have in the freezer 3 brace of pheasants and a couple of Partridge many thanks to WAG ! and a nice Roe back leg. There's some Guinea Fowl running about at the end of my estate! but they've been there a few years so they could be a bit tough, I'm still not sure weather to get one of the Capon Chickens which are supposed to be pretty fat and juicy and not too dry, I'm looking at all sorts of meats but I think its got to be a bird for the table.... There's now a bit more scope for everyone to play with thanks to Ian. we now have a few more catagories to play with which should cover most of our needs. The General Falconry can be used for Basically anything to do with Falconry and Hawking and this forum for the longwing falconers to share their exploits.... Basically if you're flying Falcons get it on here in either pictures, advice, day to day Diaries, or anything else in common with the above catagory.... Enjoy Jasper
