Hi Frank,...this season has been the worst ever for us 'darn sarf'... I've never seen such devastation. Myxy rabbits everywhere... Its too late now for many fresh litters of youngsters,.but hopefully the frost will kill off the fleas and make a quick end of the carriers of the disease...Personally,.I've a big stake in the rabbiting..££££ So,.fingers crossed that ole' Brer can make it... The 'Master Trapper', Glenn Waters told me about the plastic ice cream containers,..unfortunately, instead of scrounging 'empties',..I thought it best to purchase the 'Raspberry Ripple' flavours and eat the fecking lot! Used to run a lot of Fenns Just get yourself some old plastic 'ice cream' containers,.cut em down the middle,.they are ideal,.lightweight,.portable and cheap... All the best,.and good trapping,...CHALKWARREN...

i bought her from phil haynes of poachers pocket lurchers. i had a radio, and still still winged, ive got in doors now for a few weeks the vet said she shouldnt be in her kennel until at least 4 months old, also another reason shes now indoors is the neighbours complained as she woke them up at 4.30 Calm down mate... A working lurcher is a valuable aquasition,..its worth taking your time on. Give it plenty of affection...Treat it like a babeeeey,.... Use your noddle, try and make it feel secure and safe within your pack... All the best,...Chalkwarren...

The guy who wrote that wee piece finding against the Raw Meat choice for feeding the dogs,.. has obviously never kept a working dog...Dangers ???? Feck me,...what could be more dangerous than running a fast moving canine after thousands of rabbits over a period of time,...in the semi-darkness I've lost plenty of work dogs,...the likelihood of a pierced gut through a raw chicken bone is far outweighed by the possibility of getting a fencepost through the chest or a collision with a barbed wire fence Lurcher work can be dangerous,.each run could well be the dog's last...
