This is most definitely a Wild Polecat... We have taken two in the last month.. They are completely different to a polecat ferret,..unbelievably fast and powerful... The DEFRA boys tell me that all wild'un's must be released back into the wild... We have this fecker in with a beautiful Black Eyed White bitch,..just for company... Obviously,..its a case of 'each to his own',.. But,..when called on to quickly reduce the numbers of Grey Squirrels in a copse or plantation,..I favour the luxury of 'in and out, guerilla type tactics. I have a hundred 'Mr Whippy' tunnels constructed of ice cream containers sliced down the middle. These lightweight tunnels are absolutely perfect for the job. They are easy to carry and fit nicely inside one another. I sometimes spray them Vauxhall 'Leaf -Green' as instructed by my Trapping sensai, Mr Glenn Waters...The traps fit snugly inside and if the frontage is protected by some stout ha

miles apart mate i tried the beardie cross and although her prey drive was awsum and her obedience above average she just didnt have the qualitys i like that you get from a working border parent ... if the dog had come from a working background (on the hills with sheep) then things may have been different ... perhaps thats the problem with most beardie crosses they have lost the working drive that makes a good lurcher ........... Received my Xmas pressie today from Netrigger... What a superb artisan this guy is... It was a gift from one enthusiast to another... The net is made from a spun nylon twine and double stranded,..it is surprisingly light to handle, almost gossamer -like and wraps its prey up real nice. Many thanks Netrigger,..you certainly know your craft

Seen 'Gordon the Gopher' movies years ago,...but the UK is a whole different ball game to the USA... I've no doubts that you could blow a big warren to kingdom come with some explosive or high pressure device,...but practical and 'serious' rabbit control,.as opposed to just killing for sport has always been governed by the available vonga....££.
